I am so glad you made this video. I kind of stopped watching a lot of sewing videos because I don't have the money to spend to get all the things needed to make all the stuff. But I have felt that was just sitting around. I made several bows and I love them. ❤ thank you

Oh my goodness. They are so darn cute and look easy. I have never used HTV but there is a first time for everything. Thanks, I love them.

OMG, these bows reminded me of my mother (God bless her soul). This was her favorite time of year. She loved shopping for the holidays, but her favorite part was wrapping up gifts, and the topping on the cake was those bows. Thank you, Nicole. You put a smile in my heart today. 💛

Love these! I messed around with scraps and made two different styles using the variety of 9” and 7” lengths I had available. Attached to the package w/ double sided tape! Thank you!!!!

@Karen626Ай бұрын
COOL!!!! Also, you could make this from a cotton woven by fusing two pieces wrong sides together with Heat n' Bond Ultrahold. That webbing somehow keeps the fabric from fraying after the pieces are fused together. I'm going to make some!!!! Thank you.

That’s such a great idea, I love the way you think!
@janebays545Ай бұрын
You make it look so simple! I keep flipping it back and forth and not a bow in sight! I just need to watch & practice more.
@SewGnarАй бұрын
It took me a little bit to get the folding correct too. Keep trying!
@candygrubisicАй бұрын
I would have never thought to use any of those materials for a bow and not with the HTV either, nice idea. Using just the gummy is pretty sweet too. A leather punch and a round head paper fastener could be a quick, down and dirty way to make one. Course, I usually reserve that for paper ones lol, and a hole punch lol. Is that fabric tac decent glue?
@SewGnarАй бұрын
That’s a great idea!

Have you tried riveting them all together? 🤔

I haven’t! That’s a cool idea!

I wonder if a stapler would work for everything but the top 1. I'm thinking the fold over elastic and use it for a hair band.
@SewGnarАй бұрын
I think depending on materials a stapler could work
@luckylindyshandmadeАй бұрын
I’d probably find a cute tag that says “don’t throw me away!” I’m afraid someone would trash this beautiful project, kind of like accidentally throwing out a handmade coffee cup sleeve. That all being said, what a great idea!
@SewGnarАй бұрын
My sister was apprehensive about using them for that reason too! I’ll just use them in my house so people know better 🤣

The 12 days of Christmas are the 12 days between Christmas and January 6 when the Magi paid a visit to the Christ child. The days before Christmas are called Advent.
@SewGnarАй бұрын
Well I do my 12 days of Christmas the first through the 12th to give folks time to make these for gifts for their loved ones 🤷🏼♀️
@zormier2002Ай бұрын
I am so sorry to bother you but do you know the size string elastic you used? I know 25” but what is the thickness of the string?
@SewGnarАй бұрын
It’s very thin, I’d say 1/16” or so? It came rolled on a piece of cardboard from a craft store. It’s bracelet elastic!
