Welcome to Day Three of the Mat Pilates Series!
Today, we move into a new set of 4 exercises that focus on flexibility, spine articulation, and core strength. These moves will help you stretch and lengthen while building control through your entire body.
Today’s Focus: Flexibility and Control with 4 New Moves
1. Straight Spine Stretch
Lengthen the spine and stretch your hamstrings while working on posture and core engagement.
2. Straight Leg Rocker
Build balance and core strength as you rock back and forth, maintaining stability through your abdominals.
3. Corkscrew
Engage your core and obliques as you twist and circle your legs, promoting flexibility and control in your lower body.
4. Saw
Stretch and twist your spine while engaging your core and increasing flexibility in your hamstrings and upper body.
As we continue, focus on maintaining control through each movement. Feel the stretch, keep your core active, and let your breath guide you. Each move is designed to build both strength and flexibility.
