Great work - I really like the reset after each rep, ensures that you don't hyperextend backwards accidently which is where I got my first nasty shoulder injury. You chest is pushed right out which is great - means that you are ensuring both shoulders are in their proper place - not shrugged out. Excellent - stay safe!!

Thanks! I’m keeping the weight a little lower for dumbbells after we talked about injury; I plan to use it for variety and stabilizer strength, but will avoid going after 1rm stuff with db, I think.

Definitely stay away from maxing out. As I mentioned - I was keeping the dumbells up and pushing from a horizontal position (normal standing dumbell press) and the left one tilted back a notch and that was that. 4 weeks of pain followed - just when I was at the mine site as well for a 3 week stint. Thankfully a masseuse fixed it in one session when I got back home.@@Schismarch
