I just shared the Bible Recap with my nephew who is trying to deepen his knowledge of the living word of Christ! Hallelujah! I am absolutely loving this journey through the New Testament! I was wondering why the people were holding on to the Laws of Moses…..wow! I just had my mind blown this morning!! Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy from before the law came to Moses!! I cried when Paul explained this! The Holy Spirit……the gift that Jesus gave us by dying on the cross!! To EVERYONE….no division, no judgment. Just the beautiful gift of pure faith & trust in our good shepherd!! His grace, His mercy, and being able to share that light to others……such a simple and beautiful request for the suffering He endured!! I am soooo thankful to have a Heavenly Father who loves us this much….I feel my heart will burst at times!! It makes me want to share with everyone and shout from the rooftops!! Father, please use me as a light to others and be a living example of your unconditional love to all!! In Jesus name, Amen!! 🙏🙌🏻🙏

When God chose us He didn’t stop there. He begins to regenerate our hearts as we live in fellowship with Him and getting to know Him through scripture. He changes our desires and mindset over time to love what He lives and hate what He hates. He has graciously given us all things pertaining to life and godliness like it is written in 2Peter 3. Jesus Christ, the righteous offspring, came and fulfilled the law that no one else could. ‭So now, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me" (Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭ESV‬). Praise His holy name! It's weird to think of Peter at this point being afraid of anything. I see how his actions would be misleading but it's just really hard to believe he behaved this way. He became so emboldened and authoritative when they took over Jesus's Ministry and this is 14 years down the road. I really needed this recap because in reading this I felt like Paul was blowing things out of proportion or even not being completely truthful in all of this. It's just really hard to wrap my head around. Thanks for clarifying once again!

Today being the “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of the Unborn Child” todays Recap has me making a connection to todays debate on the morality/legality of abortion and the Judaizers. I wonder if we will come to a time where we can accept that keeping abortion legal and accessible is necessary? As a Catholic woman who believes in Pro-Choice, I’m definitely struggling to understand if and where I fit in.

You can not make the Bible fit your personal beliefs. We are told to conform to Christ and be like Him. We need to conform our beliefs to Him and not Him to our beliefs. He hates murder, and we should, too. On day 323, TLC talked about how the moral law (10 commandments) still stands, not as a way of earning or keeping our salvation, but because they are the guidelines God set for us. They are things God declared right and wrong according to His unchanging standards. Today's lesson had to do with trying to combine God's grace with human effort/works. Abiding by the 10 commandments can not save us, but we do our best to live according to God's standards out of love for him. Christ followers should not love something God hates, such as the murder of innocent babies. I understand that you feel very strongly about this topic, but there is just no way to make abortion fit into the Bible and everything God stands for. Human life is so, so precious to Him.
