All of you people watching this please pray for a friend of mine her words exactly “I don't know if non-believer is the right word, I'm not affiliated with any particular religion, I'm probably agnostic right now, I do find value in the psychospiritual, maybe to say I'm questioning is more accurate.”

Love the message of inclusion….Jesus came to save everyone….I pray the Church, which is each one of us that say we are Christians, spend more time bringing people in and including them instead of judging and excluding them….Christ came for the outcasts….I can’t imagine anything more hurtful then someone being told they are not good enough in God’s eyes….they are sin….and being cast out….can you imagine what that would feel like?We need to work harder at imitating the love Christ. Lord Jesus, I pray that ALL come to know your love through your hands and feet on this earth. In Jesus name I pray.

Three words if repeated often and by many would change the world “I love you”
@laurielaville53262 күн бұрын
I love this message too! I find that many are driven away due to the judgemental nature of many who may have good intentions or the many who do not realize that we are ALL sinners. We are ALL called to have faith in Jesus as our redeemer. I have been worried about my some family members who either have a faith in Jesus but don't feel the need to worship in a church building each week or who seem to be of the nature that there are "many truths" out there and are more in the line of "relativism". I find that I am often trying to push faith on them but it is doing more of pushing them away. Lord, please help me to "Let go and Let God!" Please let Your Holy Spirit speak to them and be louder than all the noise in this lost world. Lord, I love how St. Paul said he no longer lives, but it is Jesus who lives in him. "He in Me!". Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit to overflowing so that Your LOVE overflows in me and spills out to all so that is what will draw those who I am worried about nearer to you. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

May we all be Saints in a working progress. What we do is what we become. "We become the book that we read", Matthew Kelley sent me a free book with this words enclosed. People will think you are "Jesus Freak" and it's very okey. Have a blessed time sharing Jesus.

Yes, I was telling someone the other day that if anything good came from the lockdown, I’ve been online learning about the Catholic Faith. I was not very well catechized, and I think I’ve learned more about the Catholic Church in the last few years than I’d previously learned in all my life! And I’ve found so many good Priests and listened to all the beautiful & spiritual things I’ve learned from them. 💕💖🙏🏼🙏🏼🌷🌻

Galatians 1-3 is certainly an interesting reflection on the Law. I don’t know that I had ever considered it a “guardian” before. 3 v. 22 is a head-scratcher though. “Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.”

It’s so hard to believe that we are 20 days away from finishing this. There’s still so much more to learn of course. To seek Jesus his kingdom is so tough but it is the best goal in life in my opinion. No matter what we do whether we are professionals, parents, children, or young adults or whatever stage real life we are in, it is so much more important to seek Jesus and his way.i

13 years old. I love Jesus and the scripture. This is the first time I've gotten this close to finishing The Bible, I cant believe I've made it this far but this is not going to be the last time, Im going to make a commitment that this day forth I will have plans for my next run of reading The Bible for the rest of my life... And in February I have plans to pick up a King James Version Bible and full book of Apocrypha and reading it right off the real page instead of on youtube so i can focus on the scripture instead of being distracted. And after I read that version of The Bible fully I will start again from the beginning and document every single story pointing out every detail I can and write it all down, explaining it to myself and my soul in a way. It may take me years to complete but I will never give up. It took me a long time to catch up to this even. But I know what I write down wherever I decide to do it. It will be the best decision of my life

If you are just 13 years old, you are wise beyond your years. But my advice to you is to not read KJV, unless you are going to compare truth to the half truths of the KJV. Oh how I wish I had started BIAY sooner so I could be on my second journey though BIAY instead of my first. I plan on starting this journey again in January 2023 along with CIAY. Praying you will join us on that journey too.

Does anyone else feel the intensity of being near the end of the Bible (The Word of God)? Sometimes it feels like there are opposing forces wanting to stop me. Is it just me that feels that, every now and then? Especially now that we're getting closer to the End. This one big step closer in our relationship with The Creator. It is like a big "WOW" I never thought I'd be here. At the point of no return. It's kind of scary when you think about it but I love it.

December 11: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20 I am a daughter of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I am loved, and because of His love, eternal grace, and mercy, I am blessed. The fullness of his mercy and love has no limitations or boundaries. It has always been and will always be. There is no mark on my soul for any sin I have committed that would cull me from His herd. Through God, my father's eyes: I am not broken. I am whole. I am not worthless. I am worthy. I am not defective. I am perfect. The God who made me loves me exactly as I am. Amen.

Fr. Mike: I have received so much from your Bible in a Year podcast, it is truly a spiritual gift. I believe there is so much
@bertl5043 жыл бұрын
I believe there is so much to unpack in Paul’s letters, that sometimes I wish it could be covered in slower speed. The particular readings about faith and the law, still leave many questions, particularly about the question of faith alone without regard to the law or works. I am trying to absorb Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s “The Cost of Discipleship” where he goes into a great discussion about “cheap grace”. Bonhoeffer states: “ The only man who has the right to say that he is justified by grace alone is the man who has left all to follow Christ.” Where that leave works? After completing Bible in a Year, I will be thirsting for more. Thank you, God bless you, and wishing you peace and joy this Christmas season.

Jesus is not God, not even the Son of God! According to the Bible God says: "Behold, this is my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom I am well pleased. I will put My Spirit upon Him and He will declare justice to the nations. Matthew 12:18 Jesus was a prophet and not God! Now when the people saw the sign that Jesus did, they said, "Truly this is the prophet who is to come into the world." John 6:14 Jesus is said to have helped a woman. In Mark 7:26, the woman is said to be a Greek, where the same woman in Matthew 15:21-22 is a Canaanite'in (Syrian Palestinian)! One event, but two different statements??? God's book is supposed to have errors? Jesus said, “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent me. “John 5:29, 6:38 Pig in the Bible " and the pig, for though it divides the hoof, thus making a split hoof, it does not chew cud, it is unclean to you. You shall not eat of their flesh nor touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you."!!!! Leviticus 11:7-8 (On KZbin: type in "World of Miracles Islam" and watch how the evidence has been shrouded by the Church!) I invite all non-Muslims to Islam. After Jesus comes a prophet! " But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the (c)Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; 9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;… I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you." John 16:7-9, 12-14 "Right," said Jesus; "After all, it is already written, "The stone that the builders threw away because they considered it useless has now become the foundation stone of the whole house. What no one thought possible, God is doing before your eyes.' Therefore I say to you: The kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who obey God. Whoever does not reckon with God must fail, and whoever rebels against God, God will destroy." Matthew 21:42-44 The verses are about the "Paraclete" in the original Greek, which means "Ahmad" in Arabic. Muhammed (as.) is also in the Bible as you see. Jesus brought only one book, where do these others come from? If there is no prophet, where did the New Testament come from??? Today's Bible is not one book, but a collection of 66 different books! 39 Old Testament and 27 New. The books of the Bible were written over a period of 1500 years, by more than 40 scribes, most of whom did not know each other! Old Testament: Hebrew, partly Aramaic; the New Testament: Greek. Can ever a messenger doubt God? If Jesus is God, (according to the lies of the devil and his followers) why does he need help from God if he is God? " Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me" Matthew 27: 45-46 The Bible and Torah have been altered by man. The originals are no longer extant and there are only translations where the authenticity is not provable. Trinity 100 % excluded! Monotheism 100% There is only one God Jesus answered: "The first is: Hear, Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord! Mark 12:29 "No one has ever seen God" John 1:18 Jesus said, "My Lord and my God." John 20:28 This in itself rules out the idea that God Himself became man.... Learn about Islam La ilahe illallah Muhammed Resulullah

Just yesterday weren't we just saying that if eating a certain thing a certain way causes others to sin we shouldn't do it? So, today, now, we call Peter "wrong" and "insincere" for eating as the Jewish who were not in full understanding??? This doesn't bother anyone's hypocrisy button at all? Note two, If you look at the videos Bishop Barron's doing under the title, "Understanding Genesis", you'll see him say that the fall was a marker for coming to understand that anyone who claims to know between "right" and "wrong" is a bit accursed. Then we have this video here saying that the law was once our custodian but now we need not have a custodian, but only the Holy Spirit. If I looked at these two sentences alone, from these two videos, I would think we don't have too much a good case for Catholicism, especially given that it claims to be the one and only entrusted custodian of right and wrong. (You well know I'm not against Catholicism but this does give one room to pause and think, 'Am I following more laws or am I following the Holy Spirit'?). Finally, as a third note, Another one they threw out as a cornerstone was a Canaanite; Ham was a servant of servants (just like Jesus, 🤔... hmmm..., yep, a Canaanite.).

what are you on about? He clearly stated that the Pope can be wrong. He is infallible only in certain teachings of the doctrine through the holy spirit. It does not say that he is not a sinner or a man that is sinless. He ate with the Jewish instead of preaching as Paul did, which he called him out on. The Genesis point you are making is exactly what Paul is preaching about. We were accursed because we fell into sin knowing right and wrong, but needed the law until the promise was fulfilled in Christ. We are saved through faith and understanding his way, and this took time. That was promised to all of us through Abraham. To your second misunderstood point, we received the laws because we did not have the faith through Jesus Christ and the holy spirit to guide us yet (us as in the fathers of the one and holy apostolic church) The laws were there to guide us until we understood the promise of God to Abraham. Then once Jesus died for our sins we(his disciples) finally understood it was never about the laws to keep us separated, it was to keep us on the right path until we would be united in Christ through the holy spirit and baptism.

@@nikolabrnada1256 #1. In office, it's called ex cathedra. #2. You're misapplying context and subject, thus, misunderstanding what I said and what my point is. #3. You haphazardly came to the same conclusion I originally stated. Glad you made it.

@@ameliaolson7580 I didn’t misapply context or subject. I was on the same ones you were. Except your problem is you don’t want to give authority where it belongs and that’s to the CC. And no I did not come to the same conclusion. I simply explained to you your own “hypocrisy” that you tried to apply with Peter and the “we don’t have much of a case for Catholicism” point that didn’t go anywhere besides you not understanding Genesis and the fall nor men that were guided till Christs birth and resurrection.

@@nikolabrnada1256 Well, given that if I ventured to continue this conversation any further it would all end up being completely about you and your ego rather than any contextual content that actually furthers knowledge, I bow out. Have a good day.

@@ameliaolson7580 Ok great first, I'm misapplying context and subject, now its my ego. It was actually none of those. All I said is you are wrong, and explained myself as to why you are wrong. But I understand not everyone can take being wrong nor admit it. I should have guessed you doing that since you did the same to form a conclusion about Catholicism from two sentences. Good day to you as well! :)

Does this support faith alone?
@nikolabrnada12563 жыл бұрын
There is no such thing. the only time "faith alone" is mentioned in the bible is in James 2:24. "You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone."

Only Catholic’s can baptise. Question where do protestant’s do there so called baptising because it’s certainly NOT a church. God bless.
@brianmelville5202 күн бұрын
I think that if need be, anyone can baptize. But you have to baptize in the name of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Catholic boy babies do not need to be circumcised?
@annmariem32362 жыл бұрын
No, they don't. Many parents have their newborn boys circumcised because circumcision reduces the amount of bacteria that can live under the foreskin. But the Catholic Church does not require circumcision.
@jessmyapinyon12872 жыл бұрын
They do not. Circumcision has nothing to with Catholicism. It’s cultural. Around the world, some Catholics are circumcised, others are not.

Only Catholic’s totally loyal to the infallible magisterium are saved on their death beds. Protestant’s are NOT Christian because there’s ONLY ONE CHURCH the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church founded by God himself two thousand year’s ago that’s it. God bless. Watch Don’t call protestant’s Christian. Then The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Then the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Then Following Padre Pio. God bless.

Fr Mike, I have to disagree with you on your decision to pronounce Cephas in which you do. Even if its correct, then be consistent and call Jesus Yeshua, and all of the other bibilical person by their name in their native translation and original pronunciation. It sounds like you are just pronouncing it that way because thats how they did it in The Passion of the Christ. It just sounds pedantic.
