I gave my life to Christ 22 years ago and am a pastors wife. I’ve done countless Bible studies and have tried to read through the entire Bible, but I’ve never done so. My will has never been strong enough, but this format has not only helped me succeed; it’s given me a yearning for God’s Word every morning. I start my day here before my feet hit the ground. I’m so thankful for this ministry and for the Holy Spirit’s work in making it possible.

I agree as well. Been raised in a Godly home, and a believer most of my life. This has brought the word to life in ways I’ve never seen, and this is my first time through the entire Bible! Thank you TLC

I just found these videos because I have been listenimg to your podcast every day while I walk with my dog. I am looking forward to watching them in the next year. Thank you so much for helping me to better understand the Bible and my relationship with God. I have been learning a lot. You truly are a blessing.

I continue to just enjoy how this study is laid out. When I got saved on August 7th. 1994 and started reading the Word I read it one book after another. But reading it this way makes me see how interconnected these books are and that the early church’s missionary work was intertwined. It’s amazing. His Word is alive and active and powerful. Glory to God.

Although our trials may not seem anywhere near the trials and tribulations Paul had to go through, we still have a hard time going through them. But we have a God that will carry us through and He will help us to sustain and maintain our life in Him. Do not fear but trust and have faith as Paul did and God will give us the helmet and breastplate of the His Spirit to protect us from all the schemes of Satan! I know He will and I know He can.😊

Besides God’s plan in all of this, I also loved that we learned more about what Jesus said to Paul on the road to Damascus! It was like getting a peek behind the curtain of Paul’s private life with Jesus! Thank you God ❤

Paul defends his faith while imprisoned. Even though Paul missed his chance at freedom, God was still directing his steps according to His ultimate good plan.

Paul surely didn’t look back and say, “What a mistake I made to appeal! If only I knew!” God isn’t a God of the “if only” or “what if.” He allows some things, and works all things for His glory-even tragedy.

The Lord was certainly very gracious to include the life of Apostle Paul in scripture. Even though he could have been released, he chose to remain under arrest in order to do God's will in preaching the gospel to the Gentiles. Yahweh, help us as Your people to be ready at all times to share the truth of the gospel to whoever we encounter. Even in terrible timing, God is still moving and working things out. Yes and Amen!

Acts 26:18, "to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me." I pray this for my family and friends. 🙏🏽

Paul was now free to follow God’s will for him to minister in Rome. The physical chains are a manifestation of the spiritual realm in the physical to bring the Word as the Father directs. Paul is in the center of his purpose as God directs.

By this point we see that God has indeed rescued Paul from gentil and Jew alike and we are reminded why God does this in Acts 26:17-18. ”delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles-to whom I am sending you to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’“

Even when people think we’re out of our minds, share the Gospel so that all who hear may be saved. ”And as he was saying these things in his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are out of your mind; your great learning is driving you out of your mind.” And Agrippa said to Paul, “In a short time would you persuade me to be a Christian?” And Paul said, “Whether short or long, I would to God that not only you but also all who hear me this day might become such as I am-except for these chains.”“ ‭‭Acts‬ ‭26‬:‭24‬, ‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Maybe I'm the one that's backwards, but, in my mind, I think she meant to say, " he (Paul) refused to trade the eternal for the temporary" at 5:44 instead of the other way around. 🤷‍♀️

Can anyone share if they found all the answers to question 3 in today’s Bible recap study guide? It ask for 2 things they turn from which I wrote… darkness and the power of Satan. Then 4 things they gain… light, forgiveness of sin, a place among the sanctified and faith.
