Another great video Mike. I especially like the videos of the Dolly Sods area. My first ever (with borrowed gear) trip was from the Laneville Ranger Station to the forks of Red Creek. You mentioned the Freeland Road. One time parked at the winter gate and cross-country skied to the top of the mountain (Cabin Mountain if I remember correctly) and camped out two nights. Pitched the tents and skied out to find firewood. After the fire melted the snow around it, we realized our tents were pitched on about 4 feet of snow we had packed down with our skis. Great memory. Used to ride the ski lift at Canaan Valley Park with my backpack and hike into the Red Creek Falls area. Very surprised they let us do that. I never saw anyone else do that. My friend came up with that idea. We used the Breathed Mountain Trail to get to Red Creek. The beaver dams made for an interesting hike. We could see trail signs poking up through the water causing us to bushwhack a lot! Keep the videos coming!

@@michaelbroyer3918 I didn't realize I was watching them out of turn when I watched this video. This video popped up in my alerts this morning when I signed into KZbin. So, I am going back to check your videos and try to watch them in order. I may do this later this evening since it is so beautiful outside right now. Trying to get the barnyard area mowed off one last time before winter. Talking about steep banks and brush taller than me, and I'm 6'1". It hasn't been fun mowing these banks off with a push mower! Got behind this year after my riding mower crapped out. Just found a new one recently.

I feel the same way about people cutting down perfectly healthy trees for a damn fire. The damage will not heal in our lifetimes. I think that is the same campsite that I camped in back in early September. Not as many people there on that trip. A few weeks earlier, it looked like tent city on both sides of the creek, but people were at least quiet. Very much enjoying the vids of your trip!
