My husband is from Atotonilco el bajo. Are you all close to that? I am white, and he is Hispanic. We’ve been married for 15 years. We were able to drive to his town when our children were younger. I was able to experience the fair and those wonderful, garbanzo beans cooked at the fair, I’ve never had anything like that before And I tried to duplicate them here but there’s nothing like the real thing right. Really enjoy your videos. Can’t believe how well your kids know Spanish and can communicate with their grandma. That’s so great. My husbands English is not very great but unfortunately, we never taught the kids Spanish. They’re still young 11 and 14 but I wish they would’ve learned it when they were young like that. Take care and have a great Christmas.

Hola :) We live about an hour away from Atotonilco and it is one of our favorite places to visit. I just did a vlog taking my daughter to Atotonilco for her birthday :) My kids didn't know Spanish either. They started to learn once we got here and they started school. I think this year they have really started to speak it more. I hope you all enjoy the videos :) Have a beautiful christmas.

This video reminds me a lot my grandmother, her eggs with chorizo with handmade tortillas and helping with the guasanas there in Ocotlán, it seems that good stories are repeated in other people. ❤

Saludos!unfortunately that’s the reality for a lot of families here in Mexico and in the states. But we have to see the positive side of this which is that they get to be with their mom and grandma all day and that’s a blessing in its self not everyone gets to do this. Thanks for watching and commenting! Bendiciones a todos!
