@@breastcancerjourney.dr_colburt My symptoms aren't too bad. I have been able to workout each day. I feel crummy, but all things considered, I feel pretty good. I appreciated your devotions. They have been just what I needed to hear. I know you went through this awhile ago, and recorded these awhile ago, but these videos have blessed me. I am so happy I found them. I know these videos will bless others for years to come. Thank you for doing them!

@@susanw8135 I think being physically active really does help with recovering from chemo so I’m so happy that you’re doing that! Staying overly hydrated is also super important b/c it flushes the meds out of your body quicker. Once the meds are out of your system, you should feel back to normal or at least your new normal. 💪🏻

Ok so I had my first infusion, same drugs and duration as the creator. and I was OK until Monday night. I was just fatigued but nothing more. Welp, come Monday, day 4 I get. my neulasta shot and within 4 hours I was leveled!! Now I've got like a decade age wise over her just FYI so that may be ya factor. I felt like I literally needed to crawl in bed and just sleep which I did and then my temp started rising....on Day 5 Tuesday I felt awful and fought a fever all day 5 and into day 6...finally day 6 at night I felt better and Day 7 felt more normal. I really think the neulasta shot hit me hard...Per the nurse she said it was most likely my chemo drugs not the shot but I found it super coincidental that I was ok until that shot...who knows but just a heads up if you are watching this to prepare. My stomach was fine , few nausea scares but just took the drugs , no big joint pains but did have a super achy back...but yea the fever shocked me....Pray folks reading don't face this side effect

I am so sorry you had that experience!! Have you been taking Claritin? If not, try to start taking it everyday now so that next session, it can help fight off some of the neulasta effects. I’m glad you’re doing better now 💕

@@breastcancerjourney.dr_colburt yes I did the alleve and zyrtec/or clariten combo day before day of an after neulasta shot day. No clue, my age may be a factor or just my body. I just wanted to share in case anyone has a similar side effect and since it differed a bit from yours. I know you seemed to have way more aches than I did , so just sharing for folks learning.
