Hi Ravi, thankyou for the detailed explanation. I have a doubt in the before BR. I want to make only the assignment group members to edit the cases, if he is not a part of the group, it should throw an error when saving the form. This use case is achieved. But, in the related links there is an option called "escalate case". When the user escalates it should route to an another group. But, because of the BR. It's throwing the error there also. Can we write a BR to achieve this ?

I want to prevent some records from inserting on table so I have written before insert BR. If I insert record manually in table, it prevents from inserting if condition not met. But BR doesnt run when data imported on table using scheduled data import.

You need to write the script to abort data insertion… durning data load uncheck the run business rule check box

OnLoad is client side and works only when the page is getting loaded and before br is serverside script and it work works Before a record is saved to the database.
