Bruh...The opponent was in really big trouble with that rook pin and you just go and exchange all your attacking pieces.....

I agree; that was a pin that would have lasted for a while. he should have tried to add more pressure to the pin

Just curious. What moves would you have done differently? Yes, he had a pin, but I am not seeing how he could have exploited it further.

@@shanecle I didn't analyze it at all, but when you are attacking you don't trade your pieces unless if it is to make the attack more deadly, that is chess 101,

15:10 forget maintaining the pin to hold the tension, lets trade down into a complex endgame which we know you struggle with. Just silly.

I can't watch this anymore. He gets so caught up in calculating for tactics that aren't there he ignores the opening principles and ends up in a big mess, all to run out of time and then throw the game. He needs a coach, or something to drag him out of his bad habits. I'll check back in 6 months or so to see if anything has changed.

This game is a good example, when you offer a pawn or piece for trade you often only calculate if they take it. This lead to you playing Nd2 in this game, which stifled your development severely.
@markneubieser8484
@markneubieser8484 7 күн бұрын
100% true here. Patrick even mentioned how the opponent was holding back from initiating the trading of pieces. The one who initiates often gives the opponent an improved position after the trade.

The rules were good, keep them up. Let's just not forget to develop the pieces (that's one of the first rules right? We had 2 pieces that didn't develop for half the game.)

Before he traded the rooks and queen, why not push that pawn to take the pinned rook on the next turn?
@Ggcccccffff

If you talking about e6 after Qe8 that would hang your rook bc their rook would no longer be pinned

Chess is a difficult game but developing your pieces isn't difficult at all. I cannot understand how after all this time you're playing Nf3-d2 and Be2-g4 when your rook, bishop and queen are all on their original squares. Stop moving pieces twice in the opening and focus on development.
@jacobpallesen3558
@jacobpallesen3558 7 күн бұрын
Yeah crazy stuff , and even gets surprised when opponent develops ( castles ) instead of taking back. Just Knigt f3, instead of that bishop moving twice crap. Opens up black bishop at the same time. Im bufuddled uf thats even a word. And i think its kind of not fun that Patrick is having so much problems with so little and so obvious moves .
