nice game - the one thing i would look at here is don't bust the center open without having castled

Yes. He says I'm going to castle and then on his move he'll start calculating other moves which can all wait and he continues to put off castling. When you can castle, you castle unless there is an obvious tactic. This will save him time, get him safer, and build up for tactics to work better.

Great win. The black cap helped. But your bad habits in the opening almost cost you the game. Grabbing a pawn instead of castling????. You had all your opponent pieces in front of your king and the inexperience of your opponent let you get out. Just develop your pieces and castle. Otherwise you will never get to 1450
