Congratulations on reaching the Arctic Circle. I'm watching from my warm cosy bed, and I wouldn't swap with you for all the tea in China!

My guess is that one sign is for the winter trail and one for the summer one. But there's usually a symbol of a person skiing/a person walking on them.

Yes probably 👍

The colours of autumn are beautiful (just as beautiful as the colours of spring are here in South Africa at the moment). Our longest hike was the Camino Frances (29 days), but even there we realised that when we walked more than 25km a day, we had to take a rest day at least every 5th day. Not only does your body rest, but you also enjoy the hike more! The irony of the signs is that they always show you have to walk fewer km's than it really is (never more) 😄. Oh my, the Arctic Circle looks cold and windy, but well done on walking to this significant point 👏👏. It may not be the most luxurious camping spot, but you definitely had amazing views!

The views and colours at the moment are amazing. We did the Camino in 29 days as well 👍👍 there we did our longest day ever, 45 km. You did one of those yourself, didn’t you?

@@dananna8614 We started our Camino Frances in Pamplona (and not in St Jean Pied de Port), so you walked faster than us 😁. Our longest day on this Camino was 32km. But on the Portuguese Camino our first 8 days (from Lisbon) were 32km every day and our longest day was 44km ... hectic! But in the end those are great memories - even if it didn't always feel like that at that very moment 😅.

@@cornawiese1061 you are strong 💪🥾🥾 hard walk on the Portuguese way.

@@dananna8614 The Portuguese Camino may not be as picturesque as the Camino Frances, but it's definitely more challenging - especially if you walk from Lisbon with few towns in between. From Porto it's beautiful and there are more towns to sleep over. Two totally different Camino experiences, but both extremely joyful!
