New Jersey is really pretty! It was always our experience in the Smokies that deer - nimble footed - made a lot of noise while bears as big as they are were just suddenly there!! Glad you’re getting to see some wildlife- it always makes the hike more fun! Except for wild boars - now those are scary!

Some folks hike all their life and never see a bear and you saw several in one day. Most of made you super vigilant after especially going thru that high grassy area where you can’t see anything around you.

There are bears here.I had a family of five at one time on my lawn last month,two were playing.Don't drink that stagnate water,NJ water is not the best.I would have filled up at the outdoor center,heck with the weight.Your legs are stronger than you think.Great video thanks for sharing.

Beaver Bog can be cleared right up with penicillin and some calamine lotion.
