Moi was an avid church goer. But the difference between Moi and Ruto is Moi made church a personal thing. He never drugged his entire cabinet and leaders to accompany him, he never had these elaborate church functions where tents and other inftrastucture need be to constructed costing millions and then having all manner of leaders present costing more tax payers money. Moi used existing churches and went on his own. Never dragged an entire entourage from cabinet to the entire poltical establishment in the area. Moi used to go to existing churches and attend church by himself and may be a few officials from the area would attend like the DC or PC. Moi would sit at the front row on the right side never in the middle and had his bible. The priest would be the only one preaching and after the service Moi would leave just like all other normal services. Moi never brought poilitics to church. Infact Moi would a attend a church that was very basic in the rural areas. No elaborate functions or preperations. Ruto likes opulence and luxury. ( Narcissism is a personality trait that involves an exaggerated sense of self-importance, a need for admiration, and a lack of empathy for others) Rutos Church services are grand. . I call them events not church services. Huge tents and chairs and these cost alot of money to be set up and brought in. (I wonder who owns the compnay which sets up these events). I call them events not church services.The church service is turned into a grand extravaganza with entire county governors, polticians and MCA's, cabinet. Politics is the order of the day and the church service is just a passing cloud.

The entire system needs an overhaul. I keep getting tired of people saying we got a youth in this position and the like. Putting youth in govt is not going to change anything. The youth is already set up to fail from the current corrupt system. What we need is an overhaul of the current system uprooted from the roots and create a new mindset of like minded people to be put in these positions. it does not matter how old you are even past govt officials who have experience in govt are most welcome regardless of age. because like any other job govt work requires some expertise, knowledge would be an asset. The only solution is to vote come 2027 and vote people who are like minded. Also on an indpendnent ticket. This pary loyalty thing is what has destroyed the country. Civic education in rural areas is Key.

The biggest weapon we need to bring change is an ID and voting card. Guys to say the truth nothing will change until we get into power. Ruto is not going anywehere so we must be realistic. it will take going to the ballot and voting. So we need to start orgainizing as a politcal force. Civic education at the grassroots is Key. We need to start doing the hard work of orgainizing into a politcal force and this is what the govt fears. But referundums, and all all manner of ways to remove the govt is really not going to work. Lets put our energies in forming GENZ chapters throughout the country in every county. Civic education at the grassroots where the votes are. Lamenting on xspaces without an action plan or complaining how bad the govt is will not work.Politicians unite for one cause to maintain power come 2027. We should do the same. The real power is at the grassroots thats where the votes are. we should be having civic education at the grassroots, ensuring you have a voting card and ID. Ruto is already getting ready for 2027 with a charm offensive disguised as project implementation in rural areas. He has aligned his campaign machinery with recent cabinet choices. What are we doing to counter that. Protests at some point have diminishing returns and protest fatigue sets in.
