THERE IS SOMETHING IN LEADERSHIP MANY PEOPLE DO NOT UNDERSTAND; SKILLS COME WITH INTEGRITY, HONEST, AND WISDOM. Leadership isn’t just about holding a position of authority; it’s about inspiring others and guiding them towards a common goal.Ecclesiastes 9:10 says "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom"

It is our whole political, economic and social set up of the whole region. It is not designed or even conceived that there is an obvious solution. As we organized before is how we must again if you want to develop masai, kiisi, kamba, luo lands. Who better than sons and daughters with knowledge and pride, tied to a language and land, to develop it?! We need to change the narrative ladies and gentlemen. Either we get on it or expect more of the same. See you in the whirlwind.

Verily professor; Due homage to transformative persons far outweighs regard for transactional personalities.

Prof Naikuli is right. Homelessness (landlessness) was an anaethema in the traditional African society. The land was owned collectively and held in TRUST by the KING. Upon completing military service (manning the borders, fighting wars), they would be allocated land so that they could take a wife. The dowry was a bribe to the bride. Our ancestors valued women because WE are the INCUBATORS, without our WOMBS the lineages will die! So women were bribed with land and cattle to enter marriage and sacrifice their lives to extend their husband's lineage! Women effectively owned land. The colonisers came and changed all that, land became transactional, today some of these so called leaders own THOUSANDS of ACRES, whilst the rest of us are SQUATTERS and HOMELESS. In the traditional African society, no right thinking leader would allow his people to live in penury. In fact he would be abandoned. We must revert back to our traditions. ALL MEN MUST BE ALLOCATED LAND SO THEY CAN MARRY AND BUILD STABLE FAMILIES!!!

There can never be a perfect leader, a person can be in leadership role, with some flaws because nobody can be perfect.

..on another tangent......they and Jomo Kenyatta himself did a good job (i'm going off the title here)......... of entrenching the culture of public and private corruption that we are swinmming in today. If Jomo had laid the foundation that working in government did not mean getting access to enrich yourself using public money and assets and publicly hung those caught doing it...tungekuwa Dubai ya Africa by now....tell me where i just stated a lie!!!....wajameni...even his own son who came into office a billionaire saw it fit kuiba kama maskini anakufa na njaa!!! Shame on us.

Yes, Joho headed the first betrayal. He founded land grabbing and “his men” befitted from it.

I'm sitting in my house ululating . Prof Gitile Naikuli is spot on. In the traditional African society, LEADERSHIP WAS INSTILLED FROM CHILDHOOD. ALL THE KING'S SONS were trained from childhood and the Council of Elders etc would keep an eye on them and then select the most intelligent, brave, organised, charismatic son to rule irrespective of birth order. The King owed his position to the community, if he failed as a leader, the people would LEAVE HIM, migrate to pledge loyalty to a powerful, benevolent leader. *All these useless leaders we have today (Kenyatta included), were not born into RULING FAMILIES that is why they are rubbish.
