Not sure which I laughed at more, the sight of your visage after a night's camping or the discussion with the devil about his, well, let's leave it there. Is a lovely stretch of the South Downs Way when less breezy, I promise. Thanks for brightening up the last day of week's holiday. CD#123

Love these videos. I did this walk a couple of weeks before you and loved it. I was told it’s an easy walk, I disagree with this comment😕 Some tough sections but still one of my favourites. I roughed it and wild camped all four nights. Keep up the good work sir!

Straight on to day four of the binge rewatchathon. Camping boo, glamping is more acceptable. I’d hate to be tired on a walk like this. I think I’d have to do a B&B. Have to laugh at Marek blending in with the crowd of sheep by chewing. 😆👍

In all the places I've walked, I've never been anywhere with so many pigs in one location. It almost deserves a designation on the map. I think I said a passing 'hello' to the farmer there but disappointingly, he didn't have a farmer's accent. I also meant to add yesterday that I was reading an article about walking poles and how, among other benefits, their help you to burn 20% more calories than walking without! Good to see you crossing the halfway point. A good night's sleep is a rare thing in any camping experience! All the best and looking out for part five tomorrow.

The pants are a celebratory flag for those who are past half-way! Endurance over speed any day in that wind, although you may develop a prevailing lean battling that wind for days on end! Well earned B&B!

Really enjoying this Marek, to be honest mate if you are anything like me (not a fan of the heat and sun) i reckon you did this in the perfect time of year, imagine having to do this walking in the baking bloody sun, i reckon that would be hell. Bowl of soup for my soul! - no way, Booze maybe, but soup can get lost!
@cdwc4 жыл бұрын
I agree soup is a bad exchange for the soul. Maybe soup was nicer in the olden days. I agree about the weather, I don't think I could have done some of the longer days in the summer with a heavy pack.

I admire your resilience Marek. It is a beautiful area though, it has so much history connected to 1066. There are some amazing churches with interesting history in that area. There is a chap called Richard Vobes who does alot of walking in that area , you should check out some of his vids for ideas. I really enjoy your stuff and wish there was more of it.
