Day in a Life of a Doctor | Emergency SHO in the UK (Vlog)

Hello everyone! I'm Elynn, a junior doctor new to the NHS UK. I'm currently in my 2nd month in the Emergency Department at Manchester Wythenshawe Hospital. It's a great working environment and I absolutely love it!
I am so new to the UK and it's my vlogs are mend to connect to those who are living alone or new to the UK too.

Brilliant video but I would probably be very careful discussing patients and giving the age of the patient and what they came in with is risky. As we know the hospital you work out the information you gave could be enough to identify patients. Best of luck!

Hi. Great channel. Heard of the understaffing in nhs alot on news and sometimes it sounds worse than kkm. How do u find the workload in uk compared with kkm ed?

Yeah the waiting time here is longer compared to Malaysia because of the free service and high tax. Workload is much better compared back. There's good support from the team in overall :)

I am suffering from urine infection from last 4days it’s burn and pain I call to nhs to book my date but they didn’t receive my call can’t I go direct to hospital because now I can’t handle my pain it’s hurts so so much evernight I am crying

Thank you! ENT is one of the most competitive training to enter, but that doesn't mean you can't get into it, but you'll need to be very strategic and focus in your portfolio and score well on interviews. Good luck!

Wnythenshaw hospital, omg hahahah , I work in Gynae in Salford and we got lots of pts who were seen in Ur hospital and got medical termination of pregnancy but they come to us with heavy PV bleed 😭😭 please tell your gynae and obs ppl the Salford Gynae says hi 😂 I'm a new doc started last August too
