What do Artists even do all day? Join me for an entire day of work as a new Full Time Artist! I’ll be Watercolor Urban Sketching/ Painting, exploring an idyllic area of my town, admiring nature during my evening walk, and spending time in my dreamy home Art Studio. I’m happy with the two watercolor paintings I made! I feel like they really capture the feeling of the places I visited. I don’t always get this amount of work done in a day, but it happened to be a fun art making day where I paint outside for hours and enjoy the beautiful weather. Romanticizing mundane moments in my day has helped me to appreciate the quiet and peaceful times I usually rush through to get to “my real work”. As a new full time artist I’m learning to balance making art, the business side of things, and home life. (I don’t know if I’ll get used to saying that yet, it’s like a dream that doesn’t quite feel real) Anyways, I hope you enjoy this new style of art vlog. It's always nice to have a little change. Thank you Randy! Honestly, watercolors are challenging for me! I feel like I tend to overwork paintings to make them come together, but watercolors are helping me overcome that. Haha, my hands and dress did get paint on them, but they washed away with water thankfully! I appreciate your kind comments.

@@AshleighKing it would also be great to know what a full time salary is and what your expenses are as this is the dream for many artists. if you are paying rent or a mortgage, or have a partner who helps support you, that matters a lot. but most full time artists won't divulge this.
