I’d love a video going over the sourdough process from start to finish because it’s so extensive and I’ve tried myself but it’s one of those things that’s hard to perfect! Allison, I suggest following the farmers almanac moon calendar when it comes to gardening. It will tell you what to plant and when to plant it. I used it when I started my first garden. I planted when it said to and didn’t when it said not to and our harvest was PLENTIFUL! I owe all my success to it ha. And yes having a place with a lot of direct sunlight is key! Also I planted several things and most things did really well. Especially zucchini squash tomatoes and okra!

You should spray your star jasmine with a Neem oil and water mix. If you notice their are spots on the leaves and how some of the leaves are turning red..it's bc some bugs are getting to it. That will stunt growth. The bugs suck the nutrients from the leaves then they turn red and fall off.

Lovely relaxing video 😊. Thank you🤗. Tip⚠️... When I buy lots of fresh root ginger.. I prepare it all straight away in one go. I cut off the outside, then puree the ginger with lime juice and freeze in ice-cube forms... Then use those cubes in my smoothies... Easy portions and helps keep the smoothy thick, creamy and cold.

Funny! I’ve always wanted a garden and flower bed. This past weekend I spent my weekend In the front and backyard. I also purchased a raised garden bed. It’s so exciting to wake up to a flower bed and now a garden. I have also researched a lot. I planted flowers first then onions, parsley tomato’s and peppers for now. Good luck to US Allison! I hope we are successful gardeners after this ☺️ I also used the same fertilizer 😆

I would start with a salad garden - greens, spring onion, tomatoes. Raised beds on legs are very nice and easy, no tilling. We saw some at Costco last week. So much to learn isn’t there, but you will have so much fun!!

Allison, plants do slow down their growth during the winter months to conserve energy, totally normal :-) they typically speed up growth when it starts to warm up

Ive said this before but ill say it again i would invest in a wood solid arch once it takes to that metal arch it will break it down as it gets to heavy bouginvillea grow very fast and get very large and that arch will topple over and trust me when its covered in large thorns its not so easy to take down ☺️

Allison! Look into fish fertilizer for our plants, especially the outdoor ones. That’ll really give them a nice boost. And make sure you check out what zone you live in so you can grow accordingly. You will see the different zones in the back of seed packets. I’ve had bad luck growing herbs but zuchinni and cherry tomatoes are my favorite!

Hi Allison! I am so excited about your gardening adventures. I would totally recommend planting tomatoes (cherry or regular) with basil as a companion. Those are the easiest for me to start and didn’t take up that much space. There is just nothing like eating warm ripe tomato from your own garden. You can grow it in a container if you just want to dabble a little in gardening without putting in a raised bed. As for flowers, I would highly recommend Zinnias (or Cosmos, but zinnia is my favorite) for starters. Both of them are the perfect training wheels for growing cut flower… easy to grow and prolific. Floret Farms has some of the prettiest varieties, and they still have some Zinnias left for the season. However, I have not tried these flowers in containers… it may work in bigger and heavier containers, because the plants do get tall (3-4ft). Looking forward to seeing what you end up doing for your garden!
