Corrie, just wanted to give you some helpful info. When spooning raw honey use only a plastic or wooden spoon. There are some amazing healing enzymes in the honey that are destroyed by metal. Much love to you, Austin and your precious baby boy!❤️

Keep that washer and dryer as long as you can keep it running! They don't make them like that anymore, and the ones they sell now are AWFUL! The government got involved in eco stuff, and now they don't work worth a hoot! I'd love to have mine from the 80's again, but they didn't have parts anymore (Sears/Whirlpool - yeah, those!) Even the Whirlpool is awful.

Hey, not to be a kill-joy but I know you shouldn’t give infants honey because of the bacteria (good but not for baby) inherent in it. I wonder if the same is true for pregnant women? Maybe look into it? I use honey for everything! Put it on a pimple even!

Stick with the King James for your 'mental programming'. These 'do gooders' go in and try to simplify things, and sometimes it helps, sometimes it makes it say things that aren't true. I know most translations are vetted, but nothing is perfect; and they did better in the older days. Fear of God -- which people don't seem to have much of any more. My opinion; but, yeah.

Don’t forget to get books to read out loud to your baby! Whether it’s a children’s Bible, Goodnight Moon, The Hungry Caterpillar, also I used a literature based preschool program with my youngest and loved it! It’s called Before Five in Row. They usually use library books and are always good. Hugs from Texas!

Be careful with chia they can swell in yourt throat if they arent hydrated from what i read but maybe the yogurt does the trick. Ive wanted to eat chia for awhile now but i have some throat issues.Corrie try some Aquaphor. Its kinda waterproof and very soothing on skin.

If you have a large thermos you can easily make your own yogurt. If you make it with heavy cream it is just as thick as greek with even more fat and protien. It's sweeter, too.

Hey beautiful! When my hands get really dry like that from keeping them in water a lot, I lather them up w Vaseline petroleum jelly and put rubber gloves on and sleep w them all night. An older lady told me that when I was very young g, and it always helps! 😊

Try adding a little castor oil to your lotion. It's MAGICAL for dry skin!

Also, with the dry skin and being pregnant, a little extra natural, unprocessed fat in your diet won't hurt. Full fat yogurt will help the protein absorb properly. A little good butter with the muffin, stuff like that. The baby is taking all your fat for his brain cells and all the rest of his building blocks, and it shows up in your skin.

You are so right in not wishing to speed up each day. You are at such a sweet time in your life. How I remember how precious those days were for me! Being a relatively new wife, making your first home “a home”….and being pregnant and anticipating the birth with the first baby you’ll ever have….those are days that will never repeat themselves! Sure you may have other houses to make a home, there may be other babies, but THIS is the only day that will be THIS DAY. Savor every second. Treasure every memory …(and try to journal…. Someday you’ll look back and read these memories).

I started with the first book in the series, titled "At Home in Mitford." It is about life in a small town in North Carolina and is my favorite series of all time.
