Awesome! 20 years an ABH, everything I learned and needed to know about life was because of this job. Like the flight ops but it was 14's, A6, EA6B, S3, H3, C2, and E2's gives away my age.

Great video. I miss it. Think about it all the time. I was a blue shirt on the Ike for the 2000 Med Cruise. Went TAD as a tractor driver and a UI on the Truman for her Maiden deployment in 2001. Qualified on the JFK (TAD again) in 2002 right there in the Jungle (FLY3).

You were a blue shirt? What is the actual rate for blue shirts? Something tells me it ABH but then when I look up ABH it shows me yellow shirts.

AeroFoxx15 its both V-1 and V-3 consists of blue shirts starting out and then yellow shirts as they become more experienced or you go to crash and salvage as a red shirt

I was on that ship in 2015 never saw so many crunches of jets and planes especially when a chief and a master chief watched an ABH1 slam an E-2 against the outside of and island and he tried blaming it on the blue shirt tractor driver. Why be this rate? You are a parking attendant, at least at a squadron a plane captain that does your job on shore by the way and is usually an E-1 or E-2 has more quals. I don't get it.

deck Soap, white barrels, with all the Aircraft traffic, the Deck will get covered in jp-4, and hydraulic oil, and the deck soap is used to clean the slip hazard, a clean deck keeps mishaps from happening.

major payne ABE work long hours and get really greasy if that's your style go for it. both rates are long strenuous hours and work hard but I like what I do and wouldn't change it for anything.
