this video was so relaxing! To answer your question , I preffer a gas stove, it allows a better temperature control and so a much better cooked food. With electric stoves the temperature is never right for certain recipes Icook, t's either too high or two low but never just right.

I have heard it said by professional chefs that gas is better for cooking….electric is better for baking. However, I love gas and find it good for baking (in my own experience) too.

Really glad you are enjoying your new house! I love the house, garden and wonderful green surroundings! Thank you so much for sharing! Have cooked with gas for a long time and prefer it as I feel I can control the heat better. I am now 57 and we have meal planned and shopped for our plan for years. You look so happy! I can remember when we were looking for houses all I wanted was a screen door to let light and fresh air in. We always lived on a second floor apartment with no patio or anything. Apartment living really made me appreciate when we moved into our home. We also use a gas stove. In my opinion it's so much easier to control the temperature. I loved the bathroom! It looks so much brighter! Of course I love all your plants!

I used electric when I rented because there was no other option, but I grew up cooking with gas and when my husband and I built our first home last year, it was a requirement for me to have a gas stove. I love that the temperature is more even and cooks so predictably. Electric has come a long way, but gas will always be the best to me.

Very relaxing video! Your new home and surrounds look beautiful. I prefer gas and that is what is most common and popular over here in Australia. The cleaning sucks but is allows for better temperature control.

If you use use gas don't let the flame go up the side of the pot even a little as it will warp your cookware :)

My family and I moved into a new home around the same time as you did.. I totally understand the anxiety with a new home. The first few nights in our new home I kept asking my husband if it will ever feel like "home" like our other house did. Now we've been here 2 months and things are decorated more and situated and its feeling more and more like "home" everyday! Here in India, gas stove is the normal. We have electric thing like a hot plate (called induction stove) but big electric stoves are rare. Love this video so much.

Haha it's sooo much different. You can really control the heat! We've definitely burned things by accident 😜 But overall I actually do like it, even though I was kinda scared of it at first (the open flame + gas line freaks me out)

I use an electric stove I wouldn’t feel comfortable using a gas stove in my apartment Although, I used to cook on a gas stove when my mom had one when I was around 9,10,11 years old Don’t know how I did it lol She would watch me though and I learned from always watching my mom
