Holy WOW! Four sets of twins?!! My grandma had 17 children, no twins. It would be fascinating to hear a conversation comparing and contrasting having that many children with twin vs no twin pregnancies. 😊

How do you handle strong willed toddlers? Say in the case of needing to go do chores but their being stubborn about it that day. My kids love being at the barn and I try to make it a happy place. Play if you want help if you want but some days it’s such a hassle.

I love how you brought up with your kids to never be alone with the cows because a 1000 lb animal can turn on you. It's safer for the animals and safer for the kiddos. I taught my kids similarly and now at 13 and 12 they respect and love animals and pick up on animal behavior a lot better than their friends who were not taught about animal safety. Oh my goodness you make me wish I had kids of homeschool age so I could join the group. I also am a subscriber to Dawn's channel. Our youngest us a HS senior who is doing virtual school. You struck a chord about how being famy oriented in this day and age is rare. Even though our family is mostly grown, we have taken strength in each other and our family bond is closer because of how hard this year has been. I feel the same way. As an experienced homeschooler I felt I could have been beneficial to the group when it started in the summer, but money spent on a Facebook group is money I could be spending on my family. It is a shame to have a group that isn’t fully inclusive. I appreciate that it involves a lot of work for the creators, but the supposed reason for the cost is to keep the group free of trolls. I guess supporting their channels which is paying their bills isn’t enough to be valuable as part of the group 😕

Not that one should ever totally let their guard down around 1000 lb animals, the comfort level will be a lot higher with your calf once it's born Being hands on from day 1 allows that animal to basically become just another member of the family. Like a pet.
