this was so wonderful and truly wholesome and inspiring to watch. As someone that gets up at 4 am like yourself and truly struggling to see the point of getting out of bed every morning this was a true pleasure to watch at the end of my working day! take care Lily and I wish you all the best for you, your wonderful doggo and your business`s future!

It was really interesting to see a typical day in your life Lily. Tough but when you really love it makes the hard bits a little easier.

Hello Lily, thanks for this video. One of the best and most interesting. Beside making super good bread like yours, it's always usefull to show that your job is very strict and ask (for also a lot of other jobs for sure) a strong daily routine. Like a music score. Thanks again for sharing ! and i'm always super happy for you, how confident and "humble" (?) your are. that's for sur a big part of your talent. Take care. Greetings from France

Hi Pierre, thank you so much for your message! My pleasure to share... I fully agree that so much of being a baker is discipline and sacrificing a "quote, un-quote" normal life, for following our passion and the joy and fulfilment that brings!

Great video ! You're fortunate to be doing to many things you enjoy. Bobbie looks like a sweet pal and now you have the gym, getting a little time away from work is important 🙂 Thanks for sharing this.

Love love love to watch your videos! They’re very soothing and informative. Only thing is, the music tends to be much louder than your voice once you’re done speaking, I think having it a little lower would be nice. Can’t wait to see the next vid, wishing you only success and good things for 2023:)

Great videos, thanks for so much informative content. Trying to do more walking exercising myself, I was informed by my podiatrist that I needed shoe orthotics due to the way I walk. Your video section of walking on the treadmill, looked similar to my situation because of how my ankles tended to go inward as I stepped. Please see if orthotics would help you. I’ve released a lot of lower back pain as the result of adding them as arch support. Just recently started watching your content which has been very enlightening to the world of a home baker.

you could start with a "Stage" (work experience!) in a bakery and see how you enjoy it... see if there are any jobs in local bakeries and work your way up :)

Hi Lily! Thank you for this video :) could I ask you what timer you use for your oven? I’ve been struggling to find one powerful enough to work with a Rofco oven (it melted the socket..). If you could let me know that it’d be so helpful. Thank you!

hey! Send me a DM on instagram and I'll be able to direct you better as can send photos/ details of the timer there!

Enjoyed this! So you don’t make dough everyday? Which means you don’t bake daily? Am I right? I have started a micro-bakery from home. My demand has gotten to where I have to make dough everyday (for the next day’s bake) while I’m baking. Knackered is an understatement!

Hey Lynn! It completely depends on my wholesale orders or if I'm prepping for a market... e.g. on most Fridays I'll be juggling baking , deliveries and then prepping dough and my products all in the same day for markets on the saturday etc. It's a juggle and I know how you feel! x
