I didn't reject DH's entire message.. just the part that contributes to lawlessness because it teaches a completely unscriptural optional submission to Adonai. But loving God isn't legalistic. When some teach loving God is giving your time to your local brick and mortar, that's legalism. You're already giving your time wherever you go, whatever you're doing in season and out of season. When they teach loving God is blindly giving to your local brick and mortar, that could be legalism. Bible teaches giving to the poor, the widows, and the orphans of the world... Bible doesn't teach building yourselves giant multiple million dollar monuments to yourselves... that's old covenant. Today I'm going to give some mechanical time to hopefully fix an old man's AC. When the time comes I'll hopefully lend a hand with his timing chain that I've been hearing. But when they say you're giving to the cause of Jesus i make sure it's really going to the cause of Jesus and not to men & women who love having power over others because their self-esteem and ego is kept damaged by how they live and by refusing to actually love & submit to Jesus. Ask their employees if they really are who they project. I guarantee you just that will be telling.
