I go via train, I and I take the train for the exact same reason, its too expensive to drive, but luckily mine is just one train from parramatta to wynyard. I have been to the darling square area, its lovely, especially at the night, all your food looks delicious

For the whole 20 days- holiday you have, those are including public holidays? Here when I used to work private company (not government) we allow max for 4 weeks that's not including public holidays. So we got 4 weeks holidays from com.( depend on you seniority) like a year of working you only have 1 week holiday , plus public holidays.
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane 3 ай бұрын
So we have 20 days annual leave (minimum required by law) which we can use on any days we want but some companies can force you to take it during the Christmas period. We also have 10 days sick leave (minimum required bt law). Public holidays are seperate from annual leave.

Driving in Sydney in peak hour is an absolute nightmare! Miss one turn off and you'll probably rack up $20 tolls and +20 minutes hah. I'm walking distance to the new metro so that's been a life saver getting into the city when needed.

Hey mate may I know what's the salary range for fresh graduate with civil engineering diploma? Also how much further can it goes up to? Cheers.
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane 2 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for watching. So in Australia from what I've researched and from what I've gathered from other drafters / my own. 1-3 years experience = $33 000 to $70 000 a year inclusive of super. 3-6 years experience = $70 000 to $110 000 inclusive of super 6-15+ years of experience = $90 000 to $160 000 inclusive of super After the 1-3 years of experience mark, what you can earn really varies dependent on your negotiation skills and experience. But I guess to say average would between $70 -$120k with at least 4 years of experience.

@@BrandonSayasane I see, does having additional bachelor degree help in negotiating for higher salary even if it's unrelated to civil engineering? Is age a factor too? Thanks for answering.
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane 2 ай бұрын
@@KZbinDude-x3n Hey Thanks for watching. I have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and it hasn't helped me negotiate a better salary. I think experience in the industry/field helps more. Also knowing the what you are worth, so ask on the higher end of the industry average. Age can impact in Australia legally, if you younger than 21 I think it is a lower rate purely based on age, otherwise I don't think it has an impact.

It's nice to see your brand new vid, Brandon. It's been a while since the last one. I'm just curious, are there lots of people living in your house? coz I noticed a lot of slippers outside😆Well, thank God, I work remotely but if I would choose, I would rather drive going to the office since public transportation here in PH is not that as good compared to other developed countries. As usual, I got hungry while watching you eat those tasty looking food. I had a chance to taste that bottled drink when I visited JPN, and I super liked Yan-yan as well. My favorite bottled drink is C2 (Apple flavor). Would love to see you making a vid abt your fave snacks. I am always a fan of night drive 😊

Public transport. Can do stuff on train. It frees up your mind and time on the commute. That's freedom. It helps with achieving lower carbon emissions. It helps save cost, immensely compared to a private motor vehicle. Factor in depreciation of vehicle, registration and maintenance fees, and upfront capital, the cost of public transport will be negligible. There is no better reason to use public transport unless the person is a truckie or a tradie. Eco-socialism. Rail and rideshare ftw. a jaw dropping 267 bucks. if you were to cut back the lobster, the original 100$ per couple would be normal. I believe there are marginal gains once you pass the $30 a meal mark. Night time is dangerous due to low light conditions. It is dead with no traffic, that might offset it. The best time I've driven is on the Barrier Highway on a Weekday, not a public holiday, around midday hours from Broken Hill to Adelaide. Complete desert, Surreal. Contradicts my public transport stance, but cars should be used in between rural areas, generally in the city it does not have full speed potential.
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane 3 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! I do agree with the public transport being free to do whatever whilst on it. And yes all the extra costs you mentioned about the car is true. Yeah would not normally spend that much on dinner. But because special ocassion. I think if we ea out on average for both us we usually only spend $40. The $30 meal mark for gains, I would disagree. For me personally it would be over $100 per person. I've had some really nice meals that were around the higher end (but wouldn't be an everyday thing). With night time driving, I agree it is dangerous if your driving rural areas. But onnthe highway or urban areas its fairly well lit and its nice that there is no traffic. And I hate inner CBD city driving. Always traffic and can get confusing lol.
