Hi Brandon, subscribed, subscribed your wife channel too, the reason is both of you are sooooooooo simple, I don't see anything shown here that is unrealistic, honestly I am done with opening youtube and seeing videos where a picture perfect life is show. I love how you guys show your house as it is, and life in general as it is. Great story telling skills. Nothing to improve guys, both of you are amazing. We need more videos like this where we feel our boring life is completely okay, and we end up finding joy in the boring life.

That office looks familiar so do you, where is it? I also work in similar job. I live in Rockdale and travelling to Macquarie Park for work twice a week. With Metro opening on Monday it would be less transfer and hopefully can cut the travelling hour from 70 mins to 50 mins. WFH is nice but I tend to work longer hours at home while in office I can close my laptop and be done for the day without feeling guilty 😂

I work in the townhall area. I agree, ever since WFH been working back more and being contacted after 5pm is more common. Thats good your commute will be shorter.

Thank you for the video, friend, I have a question, can you answer me if it's okay? I'm interested in civil engineering, so I'm thinking of going to uni, but it may not suit my aptitude, so I'm going to try the certification course at Tafe first, what do you think? Is it better to go to college right away? I'm not young enough lol
@BrandonSayasane7 ай бұрын
Hi There, Funny you ask this because I am going to release a video about this topic soon. My advice is (especially if you live in Australia) is to try being a Civil Drafter first (You don't need to be super smart). Once your in an engineering company more opportunities open up and sometimes you can study to become an engineer and your company may pay some of the tuition.
@Dsndi82747 ай бұрын
@@BrandonSayasane I'm really looking forward to the video. Lol. First of all, thank you for answering. (yes, i live in sydney, and recently got a PR visa.)As you said, try being a a civil drafter, but Don't i need a degree to work as a civil drafter? So I'm thinking about whether to go to uni or learn a certificate first at tafe. Thank you so much for your reply. I wanted to ask around, but I couldn't meet anyone who works on this side.
@BrandonSayasane7 ай бұрын
@@Dsndi8274 So when I started I didnt need a degree, just a diploma. But look around for Apprentice or Cadet Drafter roles. These are the ones where you get paid to study and learn on the job. Pay wouldnt be great though.

Thanks for watching. I would recommend watching this video m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6icnYKfpKtrl68 for a bit of info. Hi my name is Sonam. I am an international student in Australia recently finished my Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design. It would be appreciated!! Thank you:)
@BrandonSayasane3 ай бұрын
My advice is to first make a LinkedIn account and try and get into contact with recruiters in the engineering industry. I will have to say, it is bit difficult time right now as I know a couple of the larger firms have had redundancies. But still possible I think. All the best and goodluck!

Since I predominately use AutoCAD for my work, its very difficult to use it without a mouse. So I usually would not. But also depending on the time train I take, I would be standing for about 80% of my commute.
