I love the satisfaction of setting up a forced draught burner..... I know I'm a sado, but i think it's a dying art.

I have found a lot of burners that have been set up so there is barely any difference between high and low fire.so it's like an on/off burner ,they suffer from low back end temps and condensation 100_120 c I don't ever have time for gas rate (if it's a working factory or school with kitchens and plant etc) and recommissioning on a service ..…so they stay the same unfortunately, even though I stress it on my paperwork, from the sites prospective if it works ....it's works , they don't want to pay to set them up correctly, anyone else have this trouble?

@@matthewjamieson370 if it's burning safely and not overgassing for the boiler I'm good. Not going to China on it unless the time is being allocated. It's all about reading the exam question why we're actually there. It's nice being a hero but the time has to be there. Sure someone else has a different opinion.

Those viessmann PCBs are a pest ...and a rip off , the cost is astronomical. I always have the same trouble getting the hinges to go back into position😂. On a positive note I find the technical support is very good with viessmann

Phew, I thought it was just me. Told a mate and he said I was making a mole hill into a mountain. Yet then again he was probably pulling my leg. Reckon he would have been wrapped up in the wires. Yep, technical support we're good at getting the video call link sent to me. I thought only 999 had those capabilities. It's a shame that he was a bit grumpy with me but I sometimes rub people up the wrong way, especially when I give them the wrong serial number.

As a young engineer, you are spot on, companies just arent willing to pay to put you through any training courses nowadays
