I am your senior. I hope you enjoy your course. Most of my cohorts are no longer in the engineering field. The top few graduates have gone to study MBA (Oxford, harvard, etc) and become investment bankers. One of them have even retired at age 42. Lol

Hey ,great video, do u have any tips for someone applying for NUS Bachelor tech in Software Engineering?

I’m not fully aware of what the degree is like for software engineering, but taking a look at the modules they seem very similar to a CS degree with a software engineering specialization. It’s probably almost the same content with slightly less rigor since it’s a part time degree. If you’re not sure whether the degree is right for you or you simply want a small headstart I would highly recommend taking CS50 by Harvard online. It’s completely free and gives you a taste of what CS / software engineering is like.

B-tech SWE is more industry oriented and not so much theory compared to traditional Comp Sci especially since it is offered by NUS ISS. Even if modules might be similar, teaching style is different since ISS is very industry oriented
