Im new to this and I’m barely going to start my shop on depop and I have question if you don’t mind answering. 1) when you make a PayPal account do you make it personal or business? 2) what are bundles and how do you do bundle things? 3) do you pay taxes each year for selling items online? If so can you make a video explaining how to do that. 4) on usps I see there’s usps priority mail and priority mail express, what’s the difference? Is one for international shipping? P.s sorry if I asked so much but I’m just trying to figure things out.

Hi! 1) I have a personal account myself, but might upgrade to a business account eventually! I believe business accounts have some added benefits but nothing completely necessary, you can still do everything you need to do with a personal account. 2) When a buyer wants to purchase multiple items from your shop at once, thats a bundle! You can give them a discount if you'd like and put up a new "bundle post" with the final discounted price, or if you'd just like to offer free shipping on bundles you can set that up in your settings and the buyer can just use Depop's new add to cart option to purchase both items at once. 3) Yes I do! When tax time comes around, Paypal will provide you with all the information you need to do that. 4) The only difference between those two would be the amount of time (express would be much faster). Nothing to do with international shipping :) Hope that helps, good luck babe!

Definitely get personal account for PayPal. You don’t seem to be 18+ and if you use business they will charge it and you are not using depop as your main income so I definitely would not do business .

They will only tax if you use a business PayPal and depop takes 10% of every purchase

Last thing , when you bundle items you just add up the price of both items or make them cheaper since they’re bundles and just ship them all in one packaging so that they don’t have to pay shipping for every item

I am a beginner in selling on depop and I just got my first buyer, it says on the app that the buyer has paid to my paypal, however, the money is not yet on my paypal. I was wondering if the money is suposed to be received instantly or do I have to wait for a few days. Please help me 🥺

If you’re a new seller, PayPal will typically hold the payment from your first transaction until you prove yourself! :)

It doesn’t really matter if you weigh an item/bundle before or after it’s packaged, as long as you do it before printing the label! You only need to know the shipping cost beforehand if you’re charging the buyer shipping, but I offer free shipping! Hopefully that answers your question haha
