Hi Katie! It is so good to see you so active, and able to get so much don, as well as work! Happy anniversary to you both! Even though you are spending it away, I am happy you have a happy marriage and a supportive husband! It really is ALOT to be thankful for! I spend weeks and months in the hospital alone when I was going through my illnesses, and all of my near-death experiences alone because I did not have the support. Hence the reason I am no longer married. So, the fact that you are doing the best you can is amazing. And one day those little ones will all be grown up with families of their own. .... Thanks again for sharing! I took a bit of time off too over the holidays, and so now I need to get back to the swing of things with the pantry challenge! Change is certainly happening. Wishing you and your family all the best this 2025! XOXO

Hi Trina!! As much as I try to slow down and enjoy a calm winter- I seem to be busy busy just in a different way. All the things inside get caught up on. I’m glad to be feeling mostly good these days- I still have the usual going on but nothing g debilitating right now. Glad you seem to be doing well for now too. Recovering well I hope!!

I was the oldest of four kids - Katie reminds me of my oldest sister - she had 9 children lol - Some how like Katie she kept every thing running smooth and organized - homeschooled her children and all - Sence my mom came from a family of 12 children and my dad came from a family of 8 children - i never thought a lot about how much energy it takes to run a home - it takes an incredable amount of energy to maintain order in a home - I had recieved custody of my sons when my wife left they were 4 & 5 - - I was a contractor in the oilfields for yrs and a normal work period was 16 hrs a day for months at a time with out coming home - I guess you could say it was like being in the navy per say - I can say the most difficult thing ive ever done was to be a stay at home dad - In the oilfields with all those crews under my charge i had to stay focused - So i thiught being able to stay home and just take care of two boys and some times my nephew would be nothing at all - Just maintaing a house with two boys took an incredable amout of energy - i had to stay all the more focused - in the end my sons came out well - What Katie is doing most men more than likely cant do - if they had to they might but not with the same order as she has - To maintain what i had to do each day i had to make a list of things to do or else i was lost - I had to keep looking at my todo list constantly so things were done - I cecked off as much as i could get dome each day - For me every day was a mega challenge - no one knows that about me as for being a single parent - Women just have the natural administration skills to run a home and also if there a farmers wife they some how handle the books well also - I have old home-ed books were girls were tought every thing there was on handling the business of a farm - for me i find it interesting to see how she works every thing out in her home each day and is maintaining the order in her home - i guess because of what i dealt with i find watching her interesting -

Wow that’s a really nice long break! Must be nice for the kids to not have to get up and go out into the bitter cold for a while. I enjoy laying in the coldest part of winters.

Hi new sub! Can you share your bread machine recipe?
@RowesRising4 күн бұрын
Here you go!! I sometimes use all fresh milled wheat, or I do half fresh milled and half all purpose. Lately to get through my bucket of all purpose I have been making just AP loaves with this recipe and I have eliminated the oats lately too, and it turns out well. It’s a pretty forgiving recipe but you will have slightly different outcomes switching it up. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKWsgoepdtmho5osi=R2eEmvtnBPPFn5lU
