Hi, if one didn’t have access to pasture fed quality butter or animal fats, do you still recommend they go ahead and consume good amounts of any conventional pure butter or animal fats they have access to.

I’m so glad I found you! I need help so bad. But, I have a question. I make my own kefir with raw cow milk. Isn’t that as good a probiotic as buying the pills. I’m on disability because of the sickness and I don’t have much money. I’m trying to figure out how to afford the gaps diet. Thank you much! I’m 58 yrs old. I have the tiny Berkey but I’m so thankful for it. I drink water every morning with an organic lemon and honey. Yum. I’m making my own organic cabbage kraut I’m trying to afford the things but I don’t know about gaps yet. I love butter and I cook my eggs in lots of butter. Yum

BERKEY has been in several lawsuits since being found out to be a Fraud they are not certified snd there are several good KZbin videos

Ahh, Loveland 🥰. Aren’t we so fortunate to live in beautiful Northern Colorado? Butter is 100% my favorite animal fat. I can eat it straight, a pat at a time or slather it on almost anything. It’s probably my all time favorite food, actually 🧈😍😊

I'm very curious how you stay so trim without cutting carbs out. I put on a fair bit of weight when I started eating this way. I feel much better but am not sure if I'm doing something wrong that weight is accumulating.
@bumblebeeapothecary2 жыл бұрын
To me, the fact that you feel better eating this way is significant :) Dr. Natasha has a great explanation regarding weight and healing starting on page 386 of her new blue GAPS book that I think you'd find helpful!

I just started the gaps diet a week ago and I can barely eat anything. It's so unappetizing to me I would rather not eat. I have to use a straw and force myself to drink bone broth with tallow for calories. I stop and gag. I made a simple beef stew with bone broth & Ive barely touched it. I'm definitely not getting enough nutrition in. Any advice?

Hi! You should watch Steak & butter gal! Healing on #carnivore is so easy - I removed all plants from my diet and I am finally thriving after 20 years of chronic pain, inflammation, obesity, high bp, insulin resistance, and autoimmune- I am almost off all my meds and lost 75lbs in 8 months (10lbs a month). My energy is high, and My skin is vibrant! #meatheals

I'm really not a fan of butter, except a little on toast or a baked potato. But since I can't eat either of those on keto, I guess I have to eat cheese for fats. Honestly between the Carbs, protein, and fats---fats is something I never crave or try and eat.

I was following gaps diet and because of this animal fat I got bad cholesterol! I think I got some improvement from gaps but not following this diet anymore. My doctor said to bring this cholesterol under control and I have this goal now. So animal fat I think not good for everyone if you consider the side affects!

@rifattaque73012 жыл бұрын
@@kwakuowirodu2047 @Kwaku Owirodu its been a while since I'm out of gaps diet and I can't really remember about the sugar sorry! Cholesterol isn’t bad, it’s more about the ratios of ldl and hdl. Dr. Berry has some good videos on this.
