What's it like being a Peace Corps Volunteer? That's a super common question. It's a very foreign concept for a lot of Americans to think about packing up 2 suitcases worth of stuff and moving across the world to live and work in a village for 2 years with people who don't look like you, don't speak your language, and in many ways don't think like you do. So if you're about to start your Volunteer adventure or if you know someone who is, you're probably trying to research as much as you can about what to expect. In this video, I talk about some of the most common questions I get about the Peace Corps Volunteer experience and adjusting to day-to-day village life.

Is there something for me with having autism with joining the peace corps, and does peace corp accommodate those with disabilities like me

Do you think you would have done things the other way around - pursue high education after going to serve in the peace corp?

A lot of people do. You have to at least have graduated from college to be a Peace Corps Volunteer. It was just easier for me to go straight through and finish law school before joining the Peace Corps, but it’s really just a matter of preference and what’s going on in your life to figure out the best timing for it.
