Your day is very similar to mine as a Clinical Recruiter. I work remotely and love it. It takes lots of discipline to work from home and stay on task and target. My day was very similar when I was in the office but I am able to get more work done remotely without office distractions. I enjoyed seeing this video.

3rd year med student here, never thought I’d consider psych but I find I’m one of the few young providers that always asks about mental health. I wanted to know would you say the private sector is saturated with NPs or is the market still and always need more psych physicians?

hi! if I remember correctly, "integrative" combines conventional treatment, like drugs, and non-conventional treatment, like acupuncture and physical therapy and that kind of stuff. I'm not sure what it means in terms of psychotherapy, but what I believe she means may be that she tries a wide variety of treatment techniques. hope this helps!

Thanks for sharing! As a PMHNP, I do not have any specific training or certification in psychotherapy, so would I still be able to open an integrative psychiatry practice, without being able to do psychotherapy? We had some training in school, but it was very brief.

You could partner with a therapist while you handle med management but it wouldn’t be safe to practice psychotherapy without more in depth training
