What are the differences between high school counselor and elementary counseling ?

One major difference is that high school counselor's focus a lot on the college process. Helping with recommendations, SAT/ACT prep, course preparation, career goals, etc. Of course this is on top of teaching lessons, small group counseling, addressing other social, emotional, and academic needs of the student, etc.
