im a CS student in my second year (im 19) and having an existential crisis because i dont know what career path i should follow, SE seems interesting because (correct me if im wrong) but you jump from project to project, meet tons of new people and it doesnt seem like you just sit for 8 hours a day with 0 human interaction. I am a frontend engineer as well, (Angular and Typescript specifically), I am in africa and I'd really like to take up a job in the US but Its almost like there are very few companies that use angular for their frontend and to be honest i dont see myself transitioning to React. What would you recommend or advice?

React is still going pretty strong and most Frontend roles are usually for that. Maybe try picking that up? Oh man that’s definitely not a straightforward process. In fact I could make a whole video about it. To keep it short, typically people will attend college and major in computer science, snag a few internships, graduate, and then find a job. That’s the happy path at least. But then there’s the alternative path of skipping college or majoring in something else and then attending a bootcamp for 6mo to a year and then finding a job. It sounds simple but everyone’s journey is different flavor of difficult

Interestingly enough (and this is just opinion bc I only just looking into this career choice), if you work from home, you can be ANYWHERE!! Which is actually so cool. For example, imagine being based in California but living in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana (basically states with lower cost of living). You would be making WELL over enough and still able to enjoy life at home. So personally, if you can stay where you are but work elsewhere, I’d HIGHLY recommend! 😊

0.14 seconds into this video and your bedroom set up is stressing me out. You shouldn't be greeted by the wide side of your bed when you enter and then be forced to manoeuvre around it. Also, you can plug your room into AI sites now that will design the best layout!

Looking again, you've already mounted the TV so it's probably not easy to make changes, but I would have: -mounted the TV where the whiteboard is -placed the bed against the wall the TV is currently on (lengthwise) -placed the desk either exactly where the head of the bed currently is, or against the window and next to the bed if it fits I have a small bedroom as well and moving it around has helped me find the best set up for the most floor space which makes the room feel bigger. A floor length mirror also really helps!
