Hey another video finally up! I know it has been a while but I am back! This is a typical day of being a student athlete, well my day. Homework, practice and sleep...maybe sleep. So far, first semester has been a learning experience and super busy. But I want to be more active, I have a ton of videos just waiting to upload but let me know what you want to see MORE of from me.

Thank you for the quick and cool look into the life of an Oregon Track Athlete today. If I told how little we had and how little we got, lol, back in the late 70's, you would not believe me. It's like an Oregon Track Athlete died and went to track and field Disneyland. And, I am proud of you all for repping our Ducks "the right way."

Random question do you have to buy the 100 ncaa registration to compete in college?

I'm just a father and I have some questions from my daughter who I coach. Currently I am training my daughter she's a freshman in high school but for the past 3 years we've been going pretty hard on workouts some questions I have how early should an athlete wake up in the morning to get to the gym? If I have school during the week is it bad to be waking up early in the morning to work out or should I wait until the afternoon if we're not in season? Currently my dad has me juicing one time a week do you do that in college? How long should I stretch in the morning? When your body is sore what do you tell yourself to get through it and get back to working out?

I’m not an expert or coach but personally most athletes I know including myself do early morning weights. My HS had an AM track class so I did weights with them. During fall you can also do weight training after school but definitely get it in. I am not sure about juicing. I don’t stretch too long and most of the time it’s before practice. If I’m sore I’ll do extra stretching/recovery. I just remind myself of my goals and I have to put in the work to achieve them. Hope this helped have a great track season :)
