I would LOVE to attend these sessions! The idea of spending time in a booth, learning/recording voiceovers, feels like just as much fun as a day at Disneyland. And to do it with people who love the craft as just as much; double awesome. Thank you so much for this video, James Arnold Taylor :)

That's cool to see Mary Elizabeth McGlynn! Enjoyed her singing the Silent Hill songs back in the day!

That's the way to do it. Throw the student in a table read WITH the professionals. Rather than simply teaching through telling them, it's teaching through showing and experiencing, and of multiple styles through multiple people.

Aw, yes! It's the voice actor of Po! Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness for the win! XD Great to see how voice actors are taught, too. Totally gives me an idea of how animation studios work. :)

Here's a weird question. When someone speaks, can you tell the difference between someone who works with their voice and someone who doesn't? If so, does the latter kind of voice ever make you uncomfortable to hear (kind of like a musician who can tell the slightest false note)?

Is their away to become a voice actor or are you born with it
