My 17-year old is considering going to trade school (electrician) rather than going 100k in debt for a 4-year degree. I told him there will always be a need for people with electrical knowledge even when the (powers that be) release Nikola Tesla's wireless electricity. I'm not worried about robots taking electrician jobs anytime soon either, LOL.
