Dope video man. Starting college to pursue a career in trades. Definitely the way to go and I’m glad I caught on at 19 years old :p

That look like good work. For me, there would be a problem, I have a fear of heights. Had it all my life, even my dad had it. I intend to become a journeyman, how do you work through it? This is a must do. I know someone is going to require me to do something like you did. I had to climb a telephone pole in the rain to throw and complete a 770 volt line in the rain. I could hardly make myself move. My heart was in my throat the whole time. Took 3 days to recover. Unacceptable.
@DailyElectrician5 жыл бұрын
not sure, you definitly get more used to it over time. i was pretty afraid the first time i was in a scizzor lift. dont look down? hope this helps, good luck ❤️

@@DailyElectrician You and I both know it's coming, but I will be a journeyman whatever they've got in the way must move. As I said, I'm hungry to grow. I have mastered what I know now. It's time. Thanks. I will have more questions.

Do you know if there is any specific electrical work that is most on the ground or minimum a ladder I am terribly afraid of heights. Does residential have a lot of heights?
@DailyElectrician5 жыл бұрын
not a lot of heights, just ladders. but if you cant work on a ladder i dont think this job will work for you.

Thanks for the shoutout dogg. That was pretty sketchy working that high up . Do you prefer fixing stuff like in this video or putting in new stuff
@DailyElectrician6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video idea and comment :) Yeah it's never preferred, haha. I'd prefer just to do something once and be done with it (new construction). Remodeling is just annoying dealing with sheetrock, insulation, and trouble shooting.

Instead of using sketchy ladder on a steep incline like that I would have used a lift.

to that Yes but it’s for your safety say that and they will if they’re a legit company. Never do anything you don’t feel safe doing.

I'm wondering if its just a regional thing but he keeps calling it sheetrock which I know is a brand of drywall but where I'm from we call it gypsum board. Am I just stupid or am I misunderstanding something 🤔
@DailyElectrician4 жыл бұрын
you're not stupid, just call it by a different name. sometimes i call it dry wall. just like some regions say pop, some say soda, some say coke.
