I did look into Ambleside ... for me I didn't like that the books were all dated. I love classics and reading those to my kids but I also like modern books!

Thanks so much for the video, I’m curious if you have ever looked at Explode the Code? How does MCP phonics compare to that?

We only did the lower levels of Explode the Code - so I'm not sure if the upper levels would be equivalent?

I picked those up from Mardel's but I believe they are called Early reader Adventure bibles.

What time do you rise, get your kids up and then, what time to you start schooling. I have a goal to be done most things by 1pm.... but i constantly fail! 😢 You are MUCH more organized than I though. So try, try again, I MUST. Thanks for the inspiration!

My kids are early risers! I get up between 5:15-5:30 and they are allowed out of their rooms at 7 ... so bible and breakfast usually happens around 7:30-45

Sorry about that! I was struggling balancing the volume on this video because it was vlog style and also the kids voices. Do you have a tough time hearing my non-vlog videos?
