Your intro was so cute! When you sign your name and the "a" turns into a branch with leaves, you should totally change that to match the seasons! For winter, make it a branch with twigs, for spring, make it a branch with flowers , etc! 🙈

The boxed windows look amazing! I love them. I just realized I have one over my kitchen sink. Now I just need to make it pretty. Your mom is so precious. Beautiful funny intelligent and a really accomplished artist. I always enjoy seeing her in your videos. The skills you have acquired are so impressive. Brava! Wish you would try the antiquing wax. It's not a phony distressing product. I might have the name wrong but it is used by fine furniture restorers to add depth, mellow age, and sheen to wood in order to match new repairs to the old wood. I would encourage you to think about finding a small cabinet shop and have drawer boxes made for your kitchen. I have a cabinet shop about a mile from my house and they make drawer blanks for me. I have them make mine with dove tail joints. Then I can make the drawer fronts and glue them on. I get the old look with sturdy solid wood drawers and it saves me a lot of time. They have made other wood boxes for me that I have turned into custom jewelry and keepsake boxes. They even made the box for my husband's ashes. I used our registered branding iron burned into the lid.

You can possibly spray the wreath with the fabric spray that keeps fabric from fading in the sun or something similar. I usually find it at craft/fabric stores.

I love the boxed windows! ❤️ In Germany most of the time windows have sills in a similar size because the walls are a lot thicker and I love to put plants on there. But it has a whole other effect with the rich toned and detailed wood and the trim around it, that you put into place! 😍 I'm always in awe how you make a plan to do something and just try it, without overthinking too much! Can't wait to see how the kitchen looks when it's finished! 😊

So excited to see this vlog. Me and my daughter say that autumn starts 1st September. We live in Wales, UK. So we’ve been having cooler days for a while now. Even if we weren’t having cooler days we’d still put up autumn decor on the 1st. My daughter has Halloween decor up all year round. She updates it for actual Halloween though. 🍂🍁🎃

To me it's officially fall after Labor Day. Which is the first Monday in September over here. It's considered a Holiday, so a lot of people have that Monday off, and it always mirrors Memorial Day at the end of May that I feel like is the official start of summer lol. So I like to decorate for Fall the Tuesday after Labor Day :) Even though it's still hot here in Texas. It's usually hot until November, so I can't let temperatures dictate the seasons here lol

I definitely agree that caulk and wood filler finish off spaces so much better, but before watching your renovation I didn't realize that was a thing! I havent seen other DIYers talk much about it either. All the homes I've lived in the Midwest haven't used them, so there are nail holes in all the trim and nothing caulk sealed. I definitely notice it now!

I know its probably too late because youve found the stain combination you like, but i would suggest looking into the rubio monocoat system. you would save money in the long run because of how little you need to use and they can be mixed together to achieve the perfect colour. :)
