I think I could watch a renovation video a day! Since i watch the same multiple times, but i agree that content creators that posts daily usually get tiresome after some time.. at least for me. So vlogmas is gold but that god its only once a year, otherwise i think id get tired. Im also drove to reno videos, so like the sorry girls i got tired of their daily content after Kelsey house got almost finished, not i only watch the renovation ones. And i used to be obsessed!!!

"if I show you everything, you're not going to watch the renovation video" Girl, do you have any idea how addicted I am to your videos?! If you would make 5 very similar videos for every project, I'd still watch them all and I'm already looking forward to binging from when you bought the house again, soon 😂 (I'm expecting you'll take a break at some point, which will be my cue to start over!) Edit: btw, I do enjoy the anticipation of not seeing the tile yet! Looking forward to Sunday! The kitchen projects are my favourite ☺️

From someone who has actually cut part of her finger off with a table saw.. I appreciate you talking about the safety here! And showing how you are and can be intimidated by power tools! They are scary and should be! But can be used safely. I had my accident two years ago (was a beginner and just made a mistake) and am easing my way back into it. With all the work and projects you have going on it actually brought tears to my eyes to see you sit down and write individual notes to each buyer. What a sweet soul you are. About the table saw : I have seen you use it with your bare hands, but it is a lot safer with a push stick (no gloves, they might catch), featherboards can also help hold the piece in place and feel more secure, same for a cross cut sled . And maybe you could see if you can take a shop class for an hour or two, just to have a professionnal explain to you the rules and give you tips to make sure you are as safe as possible. That could even be an idea for a collab with a woodworker/youtuber in Texas or LA !!

@amaiaamaiaa2 жыл бұрын
how to get over your fear of table saws: watch every table saw safety video there is on youtube. Pay attention. Understand WHY accidents happen and WHY kickback happens. Make sure your fence is perfectly parallel to your blade. Make sure you use a riving knife. Make sure that one edge of whatever you are ripping is truly straight (otherwise, use a jointing jig). Make sure that your wood is not warped or cupped. Make sure you NEVER use the fence and the miter gauge at the same time, because you never want the wood cutoff to get pinched, that can result in kickback. Make sure you use PUSH STICKS. NEVER wear gloves (that goes for any rotating blade tool). I bought a table saw and kept it in the box for like 6 months, too scared to use it. I did sooooo much research and now it's definitely my favorite and most versatile tool, and I feel safe using it because when I watch youtube videos of table saw accidents, I understand why they happen. That doesn't mean that I don't still have a very healthy respect and fear for the tool, because a certain amount of fear keeps you safe. There are cuts that I refuse to make because I think they are risky.

I have lived in a very wooded area for 27 years and the first 15 years as a single mom. I always had a "healthy respect" for chainsaws. I could get by using a sawsall to cut branches or small trees. Then I purchased my first chainsaw and it was about a month later, a larger tree came down in our front yard, along with about 4 smaller trees. I was so glad to have and be able to use that chainsaw! So keep that "healthy respect" (not fear) of the tablesaw. Perhaps a shop class would help?

A little paint, glitters brown wrapped wire to make the stem/hanger & a pretty ribbon to wrap/add a bow around the top of the pear. I brought the tinsel from local craft shop and will put it on my tree. I love watching your renovation, I'm learning a few things that I have never done before.

Have you tried using less backing behind the embroidery maybe three in wide and the length of the hoop might save a lot of material as long as it is hooped tight it should work just a thought🤔
