I have done the crockpot candy before, but I am going to do it again. I'm going to also try the cookie recipe as well. I know of an Amish lady brown her butter when she makes mashed potatoes and she puts it on her mashed potatoes and she said it's delicious.

Yesenia, I'm not sure if you know this, but you can file for an exemption from jury duty if you are the primary caregiver of an underage child, or if you are the primary caregiver of someone who is disabled. I've had to use the underage child exemption a couple of times.

Baker to Baker: After 24 hours, take your dough out at 6AM and let it sit at room temperature for four to six hours. They'll come out perfect. Loved the vlog.🥰

I could not stand jury duty but one time I was extremely thankful I had been chosen. Walmart was charging a severely mentally handicapped boy with stealing. His grandmother was raising him and she had the receipt of the little car that the boy had. The number on the receipt matched the number on box car was in. It was a match box car. I was so mad and emotional during the whole trail. When we went in the jury room we took vote immediately. Of course there was one who said guilty, her reasoning was people like that lie. I jumped up And got in her face and said no they do not. Most of these children do not know how to lie. Then she said well the grandmother could have made up the receipt. I said I will sit here till h… freezes over but I am not changing my vote. Then everyone agreed. After a few hours she changed her vote to not guilty. This trial haunted me for a long time. I was thrilled I reached the age where you do not have to serve anymore. Just remember Yesenia there will be some who do not listen to the evidence and assume everyone is guilty. I have also served on one where the girl was guilty. But maybe they will not call your number. Love this video. Cookies and candy looked delicious
