Sunday afternoon Fox Shooting with the .204 Ruger, Sunday afternoon foxing in Somerset. The local Pheasant Shoot is working hard to clear up the Foxes before the Poults arrive. All shot with the .204 using home loaded 39grn Sierra Blitz Kings

Great shooting! For all the critical posts i have read, you know nothing about the damage foxes do. They have ravaged my chickens over the years and only last week was awoken at 6.00am to find a fox attacking my birds, dragging one under the chicken wire and then running off with it in its mouth. I am buying a gun this week as result. Very distressing what I and my children saw.

Kev William Yep, The Vixen would have spooked if id taken the cub first. Hence the placement of the first shot. From the other side of the valley against the hedge, at 364 yards away, they would have had no idea. The mod im using is also pretty efficient so the report wouldn't be much

i have the same calibre, i love this gun!! my goal is a rabbit at 400-500 yards. i have already been able to pick off shotgun clays at 550yards.....i am going out tomorrow, can't wait to get out there again. Excellent shooting BTW.

Its based on a Rem 700 Action with a Border 1 in 10 26" tube. the stock is a Accuracy International with Victor Company Viperskins. I can get .1's at 100yrds when i do my bit!

varminteruk Damn! The rifle i was looking at would end up being like $300 for the rifle (22-250), $100 for the stock, $2-300 on a scope, and like a $50 bipod. REALLY nice setup though. Also the comment about Brits with the rifle could have been offensive... I meant that I didn't think it was legal for you guys to have anything very high powered in the UK, and that it's a pain in the ass to get ammo.

Thank you! With the 39grn, Spot on zero at 100yards and the bullet will have 2.2" drop at 200, 8.5" at 300 and 20.2" at 400. If you are not going to dial shots, you could just have it 1" high at 100 and that would take you out pretty far on just a point and squirt. Its a great calibre, you will have to load to get the best results..... but you wont be dissapointed!!

good vid Im proud of you its nice to see someone who cares i also hunt foxes/coyotes/raccoons in the US i dislike these predators very much and for the people who have nothing better to do then ragg on this poor man who is trying to help in conservation and control here is something to think about.... where as i farm to live i find it very hard to make a living with these predators eating every animal i take care of as of LAST YEAR ALONE i had 120 chicks 67 hens and roosters chickens 37 ducks and geese and 91 pheasants and quail to start the year by november i had lost 72% of all my birds ouch ...i had set a trail cam on my property and have counted over 17 separate foxes 21 raccoons and 3 coyotes on my property most all predators have scars from fighting (my guess over food) and look very sick and skinny and most have mange if maybe a little conservation would have been applied i would have my birds and money ......predators would have more food per animal.... and the ecosystem as a whole would be better so learn BEFORE you criticize

Endangered species have been killed by a fox on a rampage at Busbridge Lakes. Devastation was found at the nature reserve on Monday (March 28) after a tree fell on a fence during Storm Katie, allowing the fox to sneak in. The fox remains at large on the vast site and is still carrying out attacks.
