I can't wait for 1.0 over the past few weeks the hype has only grown bigger and bigger and it has become obvious that day of dragons 1.0 will be a completely different game and the amount of lore revealed in the stream was amazing also I think having the elementals and sand slayer worms I game will help pvp be more fun as big clans have better things to try and kill than solo players and there being the small Caves where hatchlings can hide from bigger dragons 1.0 is just going to be amazing and when it comes out I will probably be playing it 24/7

It is but people are already sorting out nesting parties and with it being such a fast grow dragon it should not take long to flood a server

What are the coords on the dune map for the cave? I... Kinda got lost many times and starved looking for the right oasis

I love the Biolumin and it looks like it's a lot of fun to play as, but I think the overall style of the dragon doesen't really fit compared to the dragons we already have. I feel like it's a bit too smooth and cartoony, while the other dragons lean more to the realistic looking side. Maybe they could fix that by giving it more texture?

It actually has very fine scales and was modelled on geckos and seaslugs. Each of the dragons has influence from real world creatures such as the crocodile skink for the shadowscale and komodo dragons for the flame stalkers. The Dragons themselves are not very closely related to each other so having more variety in their looks makes much more sense as they each fill different ecological niches. From a gameplay standpoint it means there is a dragon for everyone, no matter your aesthetic tastes.

@@Lusewing Thanks for the answer! I haven't seen the scales but I can't wait to play the dragon myself and take a closer look. Overall I think the design is beautiful, it just felt odd. But maybe that'll change when it finally releases so I can play it myself. I guess the part that itches me the most are the feathers? Or is it supposed to be fur? I really can't tell. I don't want them to get rid of that, just maybe they could make it clearer to see? In the end they'll probably won't change anything and that's okay. That's just a little bit of critique I had.

@@dragon_platypus Oh, search up nudibranch, you will see the beautiful sea slugs that they took inspration of. Those 'pods' are where they store the stuff that makes them glow, like a glowworm

i love the video but i think ur making everything seem more finished than it is tbh, the baby sandslayer for example was stationary and glitched allot when looking left or right edit: im not trying to discredit the work of the devs or the creator and i think a lot of the vid is GREAT

Oh I am very sorry if I did, this is the test server and it's important not to focus on the glitches and unfinished aspects of the game. Porting to Unreal 5 has caused the other dragons to gain an oily texture to their skins, twitch's to animations and other issues. The Bio is only available as an adult, has can't die, breed, do most of its calls, eat or drink. Nore can it hover or make other dragons glow. The sand slayer was added as a quick addition to add a little extra to the test server. The problem is that focusing on all of the issues doesn't help in any way. The Devs are working hard on removing and fixing them, it's why we have the test server.

It will yes!! We will be able to learn lore, gain more mutation points, progress to elder and unlock and earn pearls and new skins through Quests

1.0 is expected in the first half of this year however they will have to be on new servers as this is a brand new engine.

yea to bad all the good dragons are kickstarter with no way for normal players to get them instead of nesting but that sucks for people who don't have friends in clan ran servers

Only the Biolumin is Kickstarter exclusive, all the other dragons (apart from the 3 DLC's) can be unlocked in game you spawn as you wish, no nest needed (except for the Hybrid which you need to unlock each time you die, but you can still do that solo)

@@blackpoison1224 The Fire Behemoth drake. All three of the DLC dragons are something a bit different from what people would think of for a dragon. The Fire Behemoth will be Bipedal.
