Day of the Tentacle Remastered SpeedRun/Walkthrough

I was supposed to post this last week. Completely forgot about it. So it's just a quick walthrough with no cutscenes, all or most dialogue cut out.
I used to absolutely love the old LucasArts adventure games and was thrilled when they announced this remaster. I've heard they are doing Full Throttle next but only time will tell. I wouldn't mind them remastering Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. That was an awesome adventure game. But Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge will always be my favourite LucasArts game.

WHAT?! you can just send an item over like that?! The entire game I would walk all characters back to the chron-o-john and send each item manually then switch characters to pick it up manually! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

Yeah, thats how its always been lol Ive done stuff like that in other games.

The quickest way is for Bernard to go up the stairs first, get the keys, get the crowbar get the gum and dime, get the sweater, quarters, ink and gun, then upstairs get the hamster go back down, put it in the ice machine and then go back to the the room with the cigar salesman and do all of that in one, saves going back their multiple times, finished the main part of the game in 35 minutes. And then another few on the last part. Thanks for posting though.

LucasArts games were great in the 90s. If you haven't already tried them, I suggest you give the first two Monkey Island games a try. Both great games and with good puzzles too. They did remasters of them a while back for XBox 360, PS3 and PC. When the Full Throttle remaster comes out later on this year on PSN, I will be doing a speedrun of that as well.

LucasArts made great games several years ago. I want them to release Monkey Island 1 and 2 on the PS4 as I don't have a PS3 to play them.

I think if they made it so that you had to walk to the Chron-o-John every time, the game would get boring very quickly. I do find it quite funny that people didn’t know you could just click on the character to send an item though.

@@BrensBitch I watched bits of a painful "walkthrough" where the fool did just that, and also stumbled around blindly half the time until it was obvious he stopped and read a guide, then did the exact correct thing after his little 10 sec pause... watching him try to push the wrong speaker or use the funnel with the decaf instead of just give it to him... it was painful and I skipped through it. I love how this one ends with them all still as a 3 headed human blob though. Epilogue skip is the best ending hahahaha.

With Laverne, try opening the ice box and then look at it. Normally, in these sort of games, looking at an item helps to highlight something that can be picked up or used.

From the guy in the room with the fireplace. You need to take the letter out of the mailbox in the past and give it to the depressed guy on the first floor in the present so you can get the novelty pistol. You then need to switch that pistol with the one in the fireplace room and then ask the guy standing there for a cigar.

In the present, on the first floor, second door you come to, there’s a guy who’s failing miserably to be happy. The ink is on the table next to the door.

Where do I find the Car keys? I am stuck on the modele of Thaís game. Made lots of things in a diferent order.

The car keys are upstairs in Bernard's timeline. From the Entrance of the mansion, go past the clock and up the stairs. Then go through the first door directly to the right of Bernard. You should be in a room with a fat guy asleep. Close the door and the car keys can be picked up from that door.
