The engine sounds like it's knocking, I'd drain the oil and see if there's any coolant in the pan. The DT466E's were famous for the cylinder liners to start leaking because the original liners only have one O-ring. The updated liner has 3 o-rings and after a rebuild the engine is near bulletproof.

I suggest you keep it as the repairs will cost a lot less than someone's repainted problems. Also insurance will be way low, If you also add the flood bus too you have the makings of a fleet or parts

I'm binge watching your videos to catch up, so idk what you've done with the bus as of after this video. Personally, I think you could easily (like you said) double or triple your money. Give it a clean paint job, remove the side lettering, clean it up, and sell it for something you really want. That's just me though.
