I had a mate who did a 4 month stint as a fire watchman. He loved it but it is definitely not for the majority of humanity. He also did a stint at a lighthouse too and said both jobs are pretty much identical but with different scenery.

Agility is such a good tree. Early Bows and knives, Late SMGs.... Love it!

Is there a bad tree honestly? Strength has shotguns/clubs/resource gathering and packmule (if you want to use that) Perception has sniper rifles and explosives (I don’t respect spears) as well as mechanical/electrical harvesting and penetration perk Endurance has no bad traits at all but machine gunner is insane on its own. Agility has all the things you listed plus acrobatics and run n gun and the stealth perks. Intellect has the stun baton (arguably the best melee weapon in the game second only to fists if you perfectly spec and drug yourself up for it) turrets for clearing POIs, traps/smg turrets for horde nights, the medical perks, workstation perks, trader perks, vehicle perks… I do not particularly think the funpimps are good at their job but I feel like the trees are pretty balanced

Agility is arguably the best skill tree. Between the bonus damage gained on the sneak attacks, the life saving properties of parkour, and the DPS/harvesting capabilities of the blades just make this the best skill tree. Also pistols/SMGs a my favorite.

Richmond residence is my favorite place to live in. I love the attic and pretty much always set up there whenever I find it close enough to the trader. I build a separate hoarde base obviously. In my current playthrough I'm still at the beginning and unfortunately haven't found this house yet, but I set up in the Cartel house, which actually seems pretty good. Lots of free farm plots.

@@user-ip6wq7vr7mthey kind of already dealt with this by making the burn damage so abysmally bad that it’s not worth doing unless it’s a cocktail fire. I believe the cocktail does 10-20 dps for 5-7 seconds but any other source of fire does 2-3dps. Jawoodle tested this back ages ago. Like 3 years ago I think.

Hey JW. Just found out the 2 block high Ladder that fails sometimes is because the space bar is still pressed. tested nunerous times and can now jump onto a ladder 100% of the time with a qwick tap on jump. 😇

Loving the new update 1.0 (got some pretty sweet screenshots of zombies in hilarious positions with blood spurting XD) The one thing I wish they would've done was put the food and water in bigger bars above your HP and Stamina...the bars are so tiny I completely forget they're even there until I get the debuff "hunger" or "thirst" and by that time it seems to pop up all the freakin time... My brother and I were playing yesterday and I died 4hr almost 5 in to a plague bear...He wanted to make The Bear Den our home/or base so we snuck in to clear it out before putting up a land claim, heard the bear, then suddenly like 3 zombies AND a plague bear fell from the 2nd floor and chased us back outside, soon the other bear was also chasing us :( no idea how they got out of the cages...they shouldn't have even spawned yet~ I couldn't outrun it and we were in no shape to even be going to a tier 3 yet~

Alpha 22 is pretty good. Blades are a necessity and the trader opens at 4 is my favorite plus you can track your arrows better crouching getting close to 100k I told you you'd keep growing. awesome work Josh.

Under the hood: Yes, some zombies were made significantly harder in that their HP are more. In some cases, like several radiated, the HP were nearly doubled. (New Inmate Zombie) Janitor in orange? (New Bowler Zombie) Scomo that pukes? Mutated is something to be feared now. Triple the HP I think.

An interesting challenge would be to try to try to trap a blood moon horde and not kill any zombies (for example a tower) then escape then kill all the zombies in one shot how is up to you. Key trick would be to slow them down long enough to gather them and escape.

They REALLY need to decouple armor and weapons from the rest of the skill trees. I really hate that I have to spec into a bunch of different trees to do the things I want to do. I'm playing alone, and I want to have assault rifles, clubs, and medium armor; but, I also want to be able to make food, pick locks, and mine. To do that, I can't really specialize, I have to dip into every single tree. That doesn't make any sense. Honestly, I miss the old days of "learn by doing" where you'd skill up as you used certain things. Maybe they could give us a happy medium and let us spend points for individual things instead of having them siloed into trees.

Have to admit, the game looks good visually, I'm just not immediately blown away by this update. I was expecting a complete overhaul, not just environmentally. I know there's new POIs, but the towns/cities still look the same. The new character movements is horrid, not to mention the running animation. Not a huge fan of the new primitive gear either. Call me Rekt, but I feel A20/A21 was way better. This should be A22, not gold.
